A reminder to whom it may interest/concern, data systems staff etc. that in few days my age will change without changing the date of birth. Some systems calculate age inaccurately with a difference of 1 year. Only number that will change will be my age number, will increment by one, compared to past year 2024. I never change my date of birth. My age in 1957 was 01 year, ….., in 2021 my age was 65, in 2022 my age was 66, in 2023 my age was 67, in 2024 my age was 68, in 2025 my age was 69, in 2026 my age number for the whole year will remain 70. Age numbers apply to the entire year not just to part of the year. Something to think about. Posted by Engineer {(male) KhalidMahmood} on December 17 of 2025, updated on January 06 of 2026.

Date of Birth does not change with time however age changes with progression of life as the time changes year after year. Yearly changing age is not a crime, not a fraud, not a discrepancy (i.e. for a human being alive.) –

Name change, age change, gender change are legal terminologies, name change takes place only when name on the IDs was changed after completing certain applicable process. Same applies to the date of birth. Progression of life makes people older every year and age number increaments by one but is not change of age. Change of age takes place when some one changes date of birth on ID after completing the applicable process. Same applies to gender. Other variables such as address, education, family size, employmemt, income, hobbies, clothing, furniture, food etc. are expected and/or normal to change as a progression of life, and not considered alarming.

Some people become known in their neighbourhoods among their groups by aliases which also become part of their law enforcement profile. Social media aliases are different than law enforcement aliases, in the early days of emails technology people used aliases to get their email messages, if they could not get a respectable email address on a server.

30 – 20 years ago I used some email aliases because those were not available as email address. Such as kmahmood@ieee.org was an alias before it became an email address since 2013. kxmahmood@facebook.com was an email alias not an address etc.
