(This was my reminder after Bell staff called mister with my given name in Ottawa Ontario Canada. For Bell Canada customers it was irrelevant where the call centers were situated when talking to them on the phones and the Bell Canada Staff should behave as if they were in situated Canada, not off shore. important to maintain formalities during the call).
I was many times addressed by people by my incomplete name. I have reminded people several times that I must be addressed by my complete name “خالد محمود” as shown here in original script of my name in my mother language URDU, which is phonetically translated as “KHALIDMAHMOOD” for English speaking environments. It is illegal to break up some ones name to make two individuals. For legal purposes one should always use complete name with ID# and try NOT to mess up others by propagating wrong and incomplete names and information.
When try to identify people without complete names, people will always try all sort of countless combinations and permutations to figure out who is who by making hypothetical complete names picked up from the computer memory (i.e. virtual beings) because of the guess work instead of definite positive identification.
To avoid this kind of confusion again, at present or in future I request every one to address me by my complete name.
This request applies to all situations when people talk about me or refer to me for any reason in my absence or presence or over the phone to a third party, please use my complete name {KhalidMahmood}.
