September 01 of 2024: around 09h19 checked my BMO bank account and OCH account for the rent payment. My advance payment of $115 has been applied to my rent for the month of Septemb loer 2024 and an amount of $477.00 has beed paid out of my BMO account, total rent payment =592.00 for the month of September 2024. Task Completed.
September 02 of 2024: perhaps due to heavy usage at the same time, no running hot water in the taps/bathroom this morning. This is the second time during the past one year that I got to this “no running hot water” situation. May be due to the small storage size which can not quickly adjust to the high demand during accelerated usage.
September 02 of 2024: I was busy all day, local travel, lunch at Montana near Merivale Mall (attended some employment programs at Merivale Mall in 2006/2007), procurement, renewed transit passes, walking etc. Hot water in the bathroom was found restored in the evening around 19h00. Due to public holiday very few business were operating. Visited some of my previous neighbourhoods from the past.
September 03 of 2024: called BMO bank around 08h00 and OCH around 09h00 to get an update on the rent payment transactions made on September 01 of 2024. Electronic transactions should be reflected/completed immediately without holding without any delays. Account with OCH got updated when I checked around 19h00 and total owing was zero dollars. My tenancy/lease with OCH started in 2023 but I was offered a different lower monthly rent, current number of rent amount is effective August 2024. Current status of my OCH account is Total Owing=0 and Total Balance=0
September 03 of 2024: a man was seen entering the lobby paddling his motor bike with his feet towards the elevators, while he was chatting with his companion walking with him around 18h15 when I was checking my letter box 307 before stepping out of the lobby for a short walk.
September 03 of 2024: A man was seen knocking on the door of the apartment across from my apartment.
September 04 of 2024: I just saw around 09h45 from the windows of my apartment 307 a UPS truck drive by on Russell Rd East bound towards the OC Transpo industrial depot, but did not stop at this building 1909 Russell Rd., to deliver my item.
I did not issue any shipment release slip, because I am waiting for it myself to sign for it. A second truck of UPS was seen around 10h54 heading in the same direction as the previous UPS truck. A third UPS truck was seen stopping around 13h50, Just now received my package around 13h55 from the UPS deliver man, I was asked to sign on the electronic signature pad with my finger, signature pad did not have enough space to write my initials KM, so I just wrote K with my full name in Urdu.
September 04 of 2024: I just received a call around 09h52 from a energy company perhaps based in Pennsylvania (267 area code number) promoting a program to lower the energy bill.
September 04 of 2024: a food truck was seen parked in the driveway of the building 1909 Russell Rd around 13h40, and a crowd of people was seen waiting outdoors perhaps to buy food from the truck. I buy my own food from the grocery stores and restaurants not from food trucks. I cater food to myself by myself, i.e. self serve.
September 05 of 2024: remained indoors most of the day, stepped out around 18h30 to buy few food essentials from Rexall store nearby.
September 06 of 2024:
a knock was heard on the door, when I opened door, someone left quickly, I found my package from Amazon at my apartment 307 door step, around 11h45.
September 09 of 2024: a third person who was seen in 2023 in melas line ups at the shelter was seen getting off route 46 and entering the 1909 Russell Rd, around 13h00 with lots of big bags as if he was travelling or moving in this building. This was first time he was seen at this address.
14h23 route 55 at stop 8234 missed schedule arrived 4 mins late.
September 10 of 2024: this morning visited the furniture bank at 340 Leggett drive, located right behind the co-working space hub350 where I attended IEEE technical talk on July 23. Client coordinator and my contact at the furniture bank Andrea was not available but I spoke to the other staff present in the office. There was no inventory list and I was not required to return the furniture back to them. Furniture was delivered to me on August 04 of 2023 which was a Friday before the long week end in 2023. That day I was waiting for the delivery in my apartment 307 and did not go to the furniture bank to avoid a “no one lives there”, if the delivery had arrived in my absence. 06h30 to 16h00
September 12 of 2024: visited a day care centre on walkley Rd (not too far from Palm Gates apartment, which used to be my on my daily commute to work in 1996) where I submitted paper work to enrol my offsprings in day care programs (but were not available during those years). Ate my lunch at Marcello’s newly opened restaurant, was a bit pricey compared to the quality of food and their service level. A five star restaurant would provide better service for the same price.
September 13 of 2024: freedommobile still seems to have technical problems, when I call 611 around 12h40 on freedommobile line it disconnected without connecting to IVR. Also when I tried to login into my freedommobile account, it was found disabled since September 12 of 2024. I visited the Rideau centre retail outlet to find out some information about 4G and 5G phones,nothing was mentioned about any technical problems. Got the login in restored by 18h40
September 14 of 2024: today I changed the mobile carrier Telco of my mobile # 613-413-9812 from freedommobile to Chatr mobile. Before this change, I changed the mobile carrier Telco of my mobile # 289-990-6590 early this year in 2024 to Koodo.
September 14 of 2024: a sales person at wow kiosk across from the Shoppers drug mart at St. Laurent Mall who activated my chatr mobile pre paid plan on (613-413-9812) around 18h30, entered wrong year of birth in the profile during activation, despite checking details from my Ontario driver’s licence twice, my licence was returned to me after reading from it one time, than I was asked again to show my licence, second time. My year of birth is 1956. Since my ID was seen multiple times, wrong year of birth can not be considered an error, must be a strategic mistake. The should realise that this can cause some difficulty for the genuine owner of the mobile number. People working in such positions must be audited for the accuracy of the information they put in the system. Accuracy of information in the system is one of criteria for customer satisfaction. (Thanks to the kiosk staff for the discount on product and services, I was there just to buy and subscribe to the mobile services but I was offered to buy a power plug as well which I declined and bought a power bank instead).
Visited the chatr and wow kiosk in the st laurent mall to get the wrong birth year fixed. Staff at both the kiosk was non cooperative and ignorant, wow staff was different today and did not know where to fix the DOB because it was on chatr profile, but wow staff entered it wrong. I was told to call the 611, but on Sunday September 15 they were closed, and automated system sent me a link by text message. I followed the instructions, but in the profile there was no editing for the year of birth.
I need legal protection of Honest Lawyers and authorities from such deliberate and obvious wrong doings which can result in legal complications or other difficulties for me and theoretically false interpretations by irrelevant people without understating the situation in its entirety.
September 16 of 2024: Beeping sounds were heard in the lobby, when I looked at the annunciator panel, display was showing a pre-alarm blinking light around 10h15. And the date on the annunciator panel was Sun September 15 of 2024.
September 16 of 2024: paid Rogers internet service bill at the BMO branch across from the building. Contacted the Rogers connected for success program for some information and to upgrade some services.
September 17 of 2024: Based on my recent two bad experiences with mobile telephone companies, I strongly suggest that all 2FA strategies must be based on email and/or WhatsApp or some other more reliable method as well in addition to mobile numbers. Chatr mobile entered wrong year of birth on 09/14/2024, and a complete outage of freedommobile (on 01/12/2024), both the cell tower communications and IT systems, which blocked contact with them by 611 or by web access to account information. This is very alarming. There must be some legislated protection as well against such failures and there must be a well publicised procedures to deal with such situations. Does it mean that people who do not have a mobile number can not have login to web based services. 2FA codes can not be sent to landlines. These solutions should not be just for people living in Canada, but also for those Canadians who live overseas, when they want to log into their web-based accounts andl services, how will that be accomplished.
wind/freedommobile, Koodo, chatr, fido and their representatives such as wow are relatively new Telco companies in the market space of communications as compared to Bell Canada, Bell mobility, Telus and Rogers and need to develop more mature and seasoned workforce to retain serious clientele.
September 17 of 2024: Due to lack of response, lack of support from Chatr mobile and Closed on Sundays, decided to port my mobile number to one of my previous service providers Rogers wireless.
September 18 of 2024: few minutes after 06h00 (when I stepped out of my apartment 307 for a walk and to go around), several people were seen in the lobby, a woman was standing by the white board turned around and said something to me, I waived with my hand as I proceeded to the exit door, a man was seen standing in the buffer zone, someone was seen sitting in a chair right outside the building.
September 18 of 2024: presto tap/electronic fare box was out of service on route 40 to Greensboro, was covered with a yellow sticker, bold letter “X” on it like during polling they show a big letter “X” to vote for a candidate.
September 18 of 2024: Store 5179 of McDonald’s was seen renovated new looks on Sept 18 of 2024, I have seen this location renovated several times since 2006.
I saw a Purolator truck passed by the building on the Russel Rd around 09h45
Around 11h40: I just received the package from Rogers delivered to me by Purolator, no signature were required. I asked the courier but he was in a hurry, met me near the elevators on floor 3 as I was heading down to the lobby to let him, but someone else opened the door for him to come to floor 3. Thanks,
September 18 of 2024: briefly attended the Tenants meeting sharply at 14h00 in the lounge if this building where I live, introduced myself to a group of people around the table and a lady writing the agenda on the board, and came back to my apartment to explore further Rogers wireless service on my mobile phone. Meeting agenda was mainly to discuss some activities or perhaps event etc. which I will find out later on through the posters or OCH publications. I attended a similar meeting in recently past in July 2024 or August 2024 in which budget etc for the events was discussed.
September 18 of 2024: my mobile career is Rogers Wireless in addition to Freedommobile and Koodo mobile.

September 20 of 2024: incoming call around 16h05 from a Ottawa number, I answered the call, but when I asked who was calling, caller hung up and did not disclose his name.
During the past few months my phone has been ringing a lot, but no one speaks when I answer the call, many of the callers who spoke were from USA selling their products and services, insurance etc.
September 20 of 2/24: when I entered the lobby around 21h19, I noticed too many lights on the annunciator panel, amber color lights for system trouble and point disabled zone 298, disabled zone 299. No beeps.
September 20 of 2024: a En-Ville UHAUL van was seen Out side the building in front of the entrance around 23h10.
September 21 of 2024: Beeping sounds were heard originating from the annunciator panel around 13h45 when I entered the lobby through the front set of doors. Few lights were seen blinking as well on the panel.
September 22 of 2024: annunciator panel was heard Beeping around 12h20 when I went to trough the lobby, perhaps continuation of same beeps which started on 09/21. A tall man was seen standing near the annunciator panel facing outdoors in the lobby.
September 23 of 2024: cloudy and light rain morning in Ottawa. Waiting for Amazon delivery in my apartment 307. Received it around 12h42
September 23 of 2024: a woman was seen entering the building lobby through the front set of doors ahead of me around 23h15 when I arrived Ced back from my short trip to downtown. A man was seen sleeping on the bench in front of the elevators.
September 24 of 2024: a shaved head man was seen sitting on the bench across from the elevators around 06h45 when I came out of the elevator after coming down from my apartment. He appeared to be tall person, bending while sitting himself to hide his height and look short. Lounge hours were seen changed as well.
September 24 of 2024: item received from Amazon was partially defective due to expired subscription and the app was not fully enabled to accept the subscription code provided with the product. So I contacted the manufacturer, and manufacturer referred me back to local retailer , and retailer refunded the price without having to return the item. I find it unusable for the purpose for which I purchased it, so I will donate it in Ottawa, it might work for some one as a blue tooth buds for music.
September 25 of 2924: I tried to reset the earbuds, no switch, most likely during testing at the factory or at the retailer it was linked to a specific number, and the app looks for that specific number. Since the app or the earbuds can not find the same number as before, it may consider it as being used on more than one subscription and for commercial/safety reasons may disable the connectivity or activation on a different number. Etc. not sure, my theory/analysis. Retailer did not want the product back and stated that I could do whatever I want, instead of donating a defective product I will discard it, no need to do reverse engineering on less than a $20 product. Not worth it.
September 26 of 2024: a day indoors in my apartment.
September 27 of 2024: it was noticed in the recent months that when I call a service provider such as Rogers or others in Ottawa, they address me sometime as Mr. Khalid and sometimes as Mr. Mahmood. because I am {(male) Khalid Mahmood} by my full legal name. I am sure this was because of the location of the call centre on the plant earth. If the call centre was in Asian/eastern part of the planet they say my name as Mr Khalid, but if the call centre was located in the western part of the planet, they say my name as Mr. Mahmood. Now I have stopped telling them to say my full name {Khalid Mahmood}, because this was of no use, they have not learned it in so many years what I want, and moreover perhaps they want to show 2 customers by one account to double the size of the customer database, for false sense of popularity, or some kind of trick for the shareholders. Because of this deliberate practice of using incomplete names, each side would be looking for a person with the remaining part of the name (i.e. which was not included in the conversation).

September 28 of 2024: 09h56 people were heard talking loudly in the corridor near my apartment (in language which was not English).
September 28 of 2024: I was given a interesting response by Rogers staff while I was talking to connected for success program line on the phone that Rogers supplies only one wifi router/modem per household, even for additional cost they don’t rent a second modem/router. I wanted to test the internet speed for the two bands 2.4 and 5.0 GHz on seperate devices. These modems/routers are open Standard devices, I will get it through a third party supplier. At present I have only one modem/router installed in my apartment for 5.0 GHz devices, splitting the bands on the same modem/router degrades the internet speed on lower band.
September 28 of 2024: screws were found missing from one of the chairs delivered to me by the furniture bank in 2023. I wonder who stole the screws from the chair or if some of the screws were left behind at the furniture bank, or fell off during shipment.
September 29 of 2024: I am not a user of coinbase or any other crypto services, no account with any of such services. Perhaps some one used my email address for their setup which resulted in an email sent to my inbox. Wrong idea.
September 30 of 2024: called OCH in the afternoon to get some information regarding rent payment methods acceptable by OCH, but office was closed due to a Federal holiday.
September 30 of 2024: shoppers drug Mart store at Altavista was using defective interact/debit machine, had error on credit and debit card around 17h10 (perhaps due to human intervention/error made by the cashier at the register), so I paid cash to complete the transaction. Looks like this is a common problem with the stores in this plaza. A year ago in 2023 machine of Tim Horton’s store located in the same plaza did the same thing during a transaction. But this time Tim Horton’s machine was found trouble free when I bought a beverage to check my card, later on I used my card at an ATM machine of the bank.
