To the attention of Facebook senior management and TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN/INTEREST.
This is very strange that Facebook has not yet fixed their software interface where they check for the ID and address verification. It still shows after so years that it was in progress. As I understand social media and internet based companies verify the email ID by sending a verification number and number is keyed in back into the sender’s portal/webpage, app etc. within a specified time and if the entered correctly email ID gets verified. Such companies do not have authority to check or verify some one’s govt. issued ID such as driver’s licence or National ID etc. So I wonder why they have this questionable module of ID verification on users profiles. As a incomplete or in progress profile it has a potential to be misunderstood and negatively interpreted. They should remove such steps from the user profiles. Other social Media and more senior companies in the industry such as google, yahoo, Microsoft and others do not have such steps, such verifications in user profiles. Clearly malicious intents against the users of such open platform social media which create problems at critical moments. In Canada my IDs were verified by the issuing authorities, Facebook was not issuing authority of my ID (i.e. by the ministries through their agents, Service Canada and Service Ontario). It is definitely a software bug (or deliberate block) that Facebook ID verification module was unable to read the scanned image of the IDs, it does not accept canadian citizenship etc. also it was able to add the following number. Perhaps it was designed to understand and verify only USA issued IDs.

Done.
