August 31 of 2025: I have not gone anywhere, no travel plans yet, over the labour dat weekend.
August 30 of 2025: visited ikea stores in Ottawa to deactivate all shopping accounts associated with my name or phones, emails etc. I am not a user of ikea products at present. I am using furniture which was issued to me by the furniture bank in 2023 at the time of move in.
August 30 of 2025: I wonder who knows this number, I just saw in a movie on Youtube.
August 29 of 2025: visited several previous neighbor hoods where I used to live in the past in Ottawa, bought my lunch at a Greek restaurant, bought some grocery and back to my apartment.
August 28 of 2025: a man, I met at the shelter in 2023 and was seen using a mobility device, came to the door without his mobility device and tried to enter my aptartment 307 around 15h45, when I opened the door of my aoartment, man appeared confused he looked twice at the top of my door and mumbled something, I said I am here, he quickly rushed towards the elevators. Since I was near the door just by coincidence, heard his attempt to enter, which made me ooenbthe door.
August 28 of 2025: a rainy morning and rainy start of the day in Ottawa Ontario Canada K1G3P2. Evening also raining.
August 27 of 2025: Paid mobile bill to Rogers wireless in the evening after I got it corrected over the phone.
August 27 of 2025. It was noticed that Facebook.com seems to have some kind of space limitation on postings, I documented events from my past on Facebook as back dated since 1981 (also some since from my date of birth), but those postings were not available now in 2025, either those postings got erased or interface limitation or limitation on the server how far back postings can be retrieved. Not reliable , not useful for long duration history storage. It would be interesting to know the limits or storage capacity of facebook allocated assigned to each user. Facebook social media did not exist in 1981 or 1956, but I was creating my own life events and selecting a date of the past and saving them on facebook. Postings dated 1981 to 2010 seems to have vanished or perhaps erased by the storage system (or May be due to human intervention).
August 26 of 2025: obtained a paid day pass from YMCA to use some of the facilities located on Argyle St. near the museum. In the past a picture was not required for a day pass, but this time today, desk clerk took my picture, I mentioned to the staff that my picture was already in the system because of my paid monthly membership of the past. She said, no it was not, perhaps my past records of YMCA were earsed from their computer systems.
Jobconnect Y Employment centre was located in the building adjacent to YMCA in the year 2006. Also, I stayed for about a week at the YMCA hotel (Shenkman Residences 180 Argyle) in January 2006 before I rented a room in a house. Shenkman Residences has been repurposed as different housing building, Y Employment Centre moved out and hotel space has become a housing building. Once upon a time I was a monthly paying member of YMCA. First time I joined Youth Hostels was in 1981 in Eindhoven.
August 23 of 2025: Today I got connected to Vezina optical shop in the mall, which was one of the OW social assistance program’s preferred vendor for prescription eye wear, I was a client since 2006 to 2010, got some adjustment done free of cost. My relationship with the merchant from the past turned out to be useful, although the staff was unfamilir, perhaps may be new. I attended some employment programs as well in the same mall in 2006, referred to by the OTI of Kanata KRP.
August 23 of 2025: I just saw a modified version of my family business name on facebook which was closed in Karachi 1980. Beware of it. Master Heather’s ماسٹر حیدر (offsprings did not change the business name because it was closed. (Some one added “new” with it). NEW operator of the business used name “Arkay” Tailors on the same business. Another business owned and operated by him ماسٹر حیدر was “ZAM ZAM” Tailors.
August 22 of 2025: visited previous neighbour hoods where I used to live in past with children and without children. One store across from the Dollarama was found rebranded to Ardene in the basement of Carlingwood mall. Previous name was different. Currency exchanges and banks in Ottawa were not familiar with zero euro bank notes, look at me as if I was asking for something wrong.
August 21 of 2025: received an Amber alert around 18h00
August 19 of 2025: one passenger raised an objection to the wrong turn made by the operator of route 41 around 18h45.
August 18 of 2025: I recently saw mother of Kanata talking about Kanata tunnel issues on CBC news via google youtube. Perhaps same person drove me and my babies around in 1996 or perhaps 1997 to show some properties in Ottawa, we were very new in Ottawa at that time and not familiar with the surroundings after we moved from Toronto inn 1996. I worked at Krypton Systems/Insheel Inc. at that time and before my youngest offspring was born. Medical Doctor Nishat Siddiqui of the medical centre located in the mall next to Zellers Store was also Bangla Language speaking.
Another unusual and memorable observation was that during that time a Bangla language speaking burqa wearing woman used to work in the same company as me, and used to go to mosque with other men although a burqa wearing woman would be considered domestic religious woman who do not go out with other men, in Pakistan women going to mosque was very rare or never at that time. Burqa wearing women were not considered professional women at all, (at least in Pakistan) and were not suitable to work in technology companies. It was a old style two piece burqa not a Saudi style abaya.
August 17 of 2025: a rainy morning in Ottawa.
August 16 of 2025: Portrait studio of Sears Stores in Ottawa used to have some kind of a promotion for a set of pictures during the years 1996/1997. So I also got my pictures taken for the set (not pocket size, rather Portrait size for framing), i.e. after I received many calls from Sears at home (Palm Gates apartments). Some floating female staff of Sears in the store going around with a clip board used to come around me and say for no reason “we don’t do that”. Perhaps they were confused by my name, or some one else was using my name in Ottawa before my immigration to Canada in 1993. Before immigration in 1993 I did not exist in Canada at all, never travelled to or through Canada before 1993. Sears photo studio kept calling me even after that as well to promote for family package after I got my individual pictures set taken. But it was not free of cost, so I passed on that and did not use the offer. I was framed.
August 16 of 2025: a vlogger reminded me of cashless living, I used to say these words 30 years ago when I was new in Canada. Cashless did not mean living without money, it simply meant that more advanced methods of payments were available or were being developed in 90s. But perhaps ordinary non-technical people had difficulty understanding the concept of “cashless living” 30 years ago, like some other jargons as “in-house”, “on-shore”, “off-shore” etc. “Cashless” does not mean “destitute”, it simply means that people use payment cards, digital wallets, payments apps, smart phones, crypto etc to achieve the same goal to make a payment or even to receive payment without physically handling bank notes or coins. Cash in a different format.
August 14 of 2025: few feather light weight things mounted on the wall were seen falling most likely due to unusually hot weather, which was weakening the strength of the glue, causing the glued objects to fall off the wall.
August 14 of 2025: went for a drink to provo restaurant in diwntiwn lyon station. Bar tender asked me if I was staying at the hotel, I replied that I was not, and told him some facts about this question. I also mentioned that perhaps there was some one else staying by same name as me at the hotel. Since the root beer was not available, I ordered a different drink, bar tender offered the drink for free because my choice was not available. He did not accept payment for the drink so I gave him some tip instead. I have seen the same bar tender many times. (This situation will not be a “he did not pay”), I asked for the bill but he declined to issue a bill due to the reason described above.

August 13 of 2025: OC Transpo: On Wednesdays and Sundays, seniors can ride all routes (except Para Transpo) for free zero dollars. Newly arrived drivers fresh from the airport do not known this. Also in Brampton Ontario of Peel region resident of Brampton seniors get a special transit pass on presto which provides free rides daily without any cost, only cost to seniors is the presto card cost. It was very unusual to see frequent fare checkers in Ottawa in the city transit buses, at the Hurdman Station etc, operating in a team of three or four checkers at a time. these fare checkers should be instructed to respect the seniors day and not come out to check fare on Wednesdays and Sundays. I used city transit buses in 60s and 70s in my city of birth (although I did not like the buses but as a student there was no other alternative) and I never came across a ticket checker (there were no fare cards presto cards in use at that time). Frequent fare checkers on city transit buses and some times on LRT vehicles in Ottawa means that transit passengers in Canada try to avoid paying fare, or is it about the honesty and trust of the over all system.
August 12 of 2025: mailed a letter to a vlogger found on YouTube, sorry for the incorrect address, (if the address did not exist letter should come back to me), a quick trip to Canada Post, Greensboro and back via Billings bridge, misc.
August 08 of 2025: a Not in service from Quebec number called my phone around 18h35.
August 07 of 2025: stepped out early this morning from my Apt 307 for a morning walk, now heading back to my apartment. Although I live in a non-technical residential building but I am a member of technical community by virtue of my education and work experience.
August 07 of 2025: I found 1 Stafford Rd strip mall, where East side Marios was and is still located. Also a walkin clinic was located where I was treated for some bleeding on my right shoulder in 1997. Address of this property has been changed to 1861 Robertson Rd, not sure since when. My credit reports will show 1 Stafford Rd from the past (1861 Robertson address was not in use at that time in the past by MBE/UPS store next to Giant Tiger store. MBE/UPS used to send/forwarded my mail to my IBN Sina JUBAIL address during 1998-2000, as a fully paid courier service paid by myself to MBE from my own personal funds.
August 04 of 2025: this was a holiday in Ottawa. walked through one of my previous neighbourhoods where I used to live in 2010/2011 when I was on OW social assistance, later on got some work to wash cars at Hertz/Surgenor (I worked without a ponytail because I am an Engineer and my parents did not allow me to mixup with questionable people also I am the one who did not use computer for vehicles in n out). Personally I prefer automated car wash ever since I bought my first car in North America in 1995. Surprisingly, in Netherlands my group never washed the car that we owned in 1981.
Also visited the Farm boy grocery store of this area to ask them reason for not completed transaction as was shown on the receipt issued by the RIDEAU Centre store. I was told it was due to a system error. I have come across many such unacceptable errors during the past 30 years frequently, looks like all these retail POS systems in every day life of common public are aging and accumulating defects and no one was spending money to upgrade/fix these systems. Instead of accepting their short comings and problems, they only justify such problems by blaming the customer. Perhaps these systems worked well 50 or 60 years ago but these systems require regular care/maintenance and feedback from customers should be taken into cosideration, which was definitely missing all these years and now these problems are surfacing as regular feature. (PS: I did not sell this receipt to anyone, do not believe any lies, I wrote on the original receipt myself in my own handwriting, I will consider to sell this receipt for some gain.)

August 02 of 2025: went outdoors, visited the downtown area, bought few items of grocery etc. and was back to my apartment 307 in Ottawa Canada by 17h30.
