Hotel rooms blocked (falsely, dummy) under a name may be interpreted as the name was hiding which would be absurd and ridiculous, because names do not hide, people hide and use others name to hide behind names. So be alert, be careful, don’t be fooled by crooks swindlers and questionable positions of powers using such techniques themselves or facilitating others in such undesirable practices.
Similarly names do not travel, rather people travel and use others names or fictitious names to travel undetected.
Engr. {(male) KhalidMahmood} does not live in any hotels in Canada or anywhere in the world at time of updating this post, never lived in a hotel long-term extended stay in any hotels anywhere in the world. Perhaps this false impression was due to wrong data collection without consulting with him about this issue. First time in life he stayed at a hotel was in 1981 for few months before renting own place in a house in Eindhoven Netherlands, Hotel stay was provisioned by his scholarship program of Philips PII in Eindhoven Netherlands. He used to work for Holiday Inn Express as night audit and other shifts, in Pennsylvania in 2004/2005 but was not a residential tenant at that property. He rented in December 2013 on a monthly (not weekly neither nightly but monthly) agreement (authorized by OW social assistance renting permit called intent to rent) at a Inn in Niagara falls Ontario Canada around Stanley AVE. for less than two years before renting a room in a house in that area.
