July 15 of 2025: Bought a old style soda bottle in Ottawa, I considering to sell the cap of it.
July 14 of 2025: when people lie about me living or not living at my current ID address, perhaps may be because they were still living (i.e. thinking) in the past when I did not live in this building before 2023 or perhaps they forgot to update their log book that this person were housed and now lives in this building since 2023. Another negative possibility may be that although it is a lie now but they might want to make it a truth in future by renting me elsewhere in future and then say look he does not live here, that would be displacing or misplacing me to hide in another place. I used this technique for hiding library books (rarely) at a secret spot on the shelves to hide books from others, but only when I was a student and there was a scarcity or long wait for some books.
July 14 of 2025: around 18h30 stepped out of my apartment and the building for few to drain waste water. After finishing task at hand when I turned my head an old woman was looking at me as she was walking towards the vehicles, perhaps snooping or spying on me, or just curious like the old woman character in old TV serial in Bewitched.
July 14 of 2025: stepped out of my apartment and the building around 06h05. Bought my breakfast at BrookeStreet hotel restaurant at Legger Dr. next tpo the building where I used to work in 1998, my parking spot was still there where I used to park my white Pontiac GrandAM. Many buildings which used to be filled and buzzing with qualified people busy with highly sophisticated work and research seem to be abandoned or under demolishing, road blocks/barricades all over which created bottle neck for vehicles and pedestrians. Arrived back to my apartment around 13h40 via Rideau and St-Laurent. Used a taxi after grocery from Freshco on my way back, also visited the 1 Nicholas St, it was lunch time so did not go to the law offices on the 4th floor, because all meetings were already cancelled by me myself past Thursday on July 10 of 2025.
July 13 of 2025: age number discrepancy: Osaka (Japan) Expo 2025 registration site is calculating wrong age. ( ハリド・マフムード) age was 68 in 2024, so this year in 2025 it will be 69. There was NO contact or feedback or report a problem method provided on their website. Organizers and registration teams should look into this matter. or perhaps no easy to locate. Wrote a message to them through their parking setup to forward. Osaka parking email responded to message by a link to feedback form and a number. Working in progress to make them aware of the issue, perhaps no one ever told them about it. ハリド・マフムード
July 12 of 2025: went outdoors to drain dirty waste water container around 22h00, several people were seen in the lobby and buffer zone. Power tools sounds like drilling or cutting tools were heard briefly around 22h18.
July 12 of 2025: stepped out of my apartment and building around 07h00 this morning, went through one of the previous neighbourhoods of Dyne Rd, Prince of Wales area, was back in apartment around 12h45. Several people were seen in the buffer zone, one person entered behind me when I opened the front door of the building, I decided to reenter the building through the B side of the building to get to my apartment.
July 11 of 2025: visited the 1 Nicholas St law offices on 4th floor around 11h00 to cancel all scheduled or unscheduled appointment meetings.
July 10 of 2025: some news channels in Canada were repeating the information about homelessness in Toronto, I wonder if the information was authentic. I have a feeling and experience that Housing companies or the staff of housing companies or the system failures were behind such situations that people become homeless i.e. no place to live. I have been through such situations many times during the past 20 years since 2005, without any legal reasoning, they (i.e. housing companies) end the tenancy or close the building to block tenants from entering their house, without providing any alternate place to live, illegal occupation etc., specially when people were blocked from making a living or employment, than it becomes nearly impossible to get the resolution to the problem, because system does not care in such situations and relevant authorities just try to justify the wrong doings of culprits or try to tell how long it takes to get the housing to discourage from it, which is another technique of inducing depression. They try to unhoused tenants with bogus accusations to make them out of homes instead of preventing it from happening.
July 10 of 2025: Visited the law offices at 1 Nicholas St. 4th St in the afternoon to cancel the two phone meetings next week because I am expecting to get a rental agreement with another place. Also visited the Food court of the RIDEAU Centre.
July 10 of 2025: (گھر) I called again Action Housing this morning before stepping out of my apartment 307 and the building 1909 Russell Rd., no one answered the phone and the message system disconnected the call without taking a voice message. Several people were seen in the lobby and the corridors, cleaning man etc, someone went outdoors through the B side of the building, a man was seen standing at the door facing the Demsey Community Centre. I went outdoors for a short walk around the neighbourhood and reentered the building through the garden side door. Two men came out of the elevator one of them was in a wheel chair and a French speaking walker man, who I met in the shelter in 2023, perhaps they were talking about Pakistan, that was word I heard when they came out of the elevators.
July 09 of 2025: (گھر) I bought an airy informal foot water (discarded the worn out shoes bought in January 2024) from west gate mall. Visited office door #214 for housing at 1335 Carling Ave. Person at the desk was busy on the phone, she spoke to after she ended the call. She is obviously new in the office, I have been in contact with these organizations since 2006 because of my financial situation otherwise before that I used to rent without their information/listings. She mentioned to me about long wait etc. Not sure what that means, She was not aware of my previous application which submitted to social housing in 2023. She did not know Sharon operator of Ottawa Rooms at Gladstones. Perhaps she or someone else was trying to extract another application from me for someone else by similar name, like they used to asked me to file another application for OAS. I would like to prompt that no one should steal the discarded shoes from the trash to misuse or to create some kind of deception, or fooling of others.
July 07 of 2025: got back to my apartment around 11h30 after eating my breakfast at Perkins (paid in full by myself), a trip to grocery store and back. A big truck was seen outside the building.
July 07 of 2025: visited the leasing office of the building near Elmvale library in the afternoon around 14h00, staff wanted me to submit ID, application and Income etc. by email. I am reluctant to submit any documents by email to avoid misuse / theft of my documents. I can show in person if that was acceptable but not by email, she will find out about provincial housing Subsidy programs, she was unaware at this time.
July 07 of 2025: (گھر) visited 1335 Carling to talk to housing help office at 214-1335 CARLING Ave., but office was found closed before 16h00, door was locked. I did not ask the question any one in there behind the locked doors. I visited this location about two weeks (or early July) ago, at that time door was not locked. This location referred me to action housing when I visited a week ago, and gave me their address card, but when I visited that location, they told me they were closing the office at 150 Montreal Rd on floor 3.
July 07 of 2025: Niagara Region housing department called me around 09h30 in response to my email, telling me something about local waiting times for housing, but since housing was a provincial matter as I was told by Service Canada OAS recently, (in my opinion) local waiting times should be based on since the first time application was submitted. Perhaps there was another person by the same name as Engr.{(male) KhalidMahmood } with previous address of Kitchener Ontario, I never moved to or from that area of the province). My housing application was initiated in 2013 by Casa EL Norte in Fort Erie and completed by myself in my own handwriting, visited the regional head quarter several times to follow up on my application. Once I was given the opportunity to speak with the regional chair in person with his aide present on the occasion.
July 07 of 2025: when I went outdoors this morning around 08h30 it was cloudy but was not raining, by the time bus got to Billings bridge station it was raining heavy, so I decided to come to my apartment via St. Laurent Shopping centre because my rain jacket was not with me.
July 06 of 2025: ate my breakfast around 5th St area in Ottawa where I used to get my letters at an MBE store and also my bags were sent to my —— 99 5th Ave address by the Canadian Embassy in Buffalo in 2006.
July 05 of 2025: visited Scotiabank to find out some details about my rain jacket purchase, transaction number etc. also visited the same store of Marshalls to get the purchase receipt authenticated and to find the reason why bank was not able provide the transaction confirmation number etc.
July 05 of 2025: today rain was not in the forecast, but I am using my rain jacket on top of my suit jacket to be ready with the cloud seeding rainy situation which can happen any time depending on the mood of rain and wind jinnat (جنّات)
July 05 of 2025: bought my breakfast for personal consumption at a Tim Hortons in the neighbourhood and paid by cash and card combo.
July 05 of 2025: used flat rate taxi to the Canada Post industrial location around 08h25 and paid cash, amount paid was his asking fare because he did not use fare meter.
July 05 of 2025: a woman was seen at the bus stop 7154 around 07h21 and a nervous woman (looked on my face as I was walking towards the elevator from corridor A) was seen entering the elevator few minutes later.
July 04 of 2025: a rooming house listed on housing help list called around 20h55, seven people in one rooming house, all smokers, not suitable for me, he said not a fit for non-smokers.
July 03 of 2025: was a rainy day, bought some clothes (for protection from rain I stead of umbrella) for personal use from Marshalls store paid by my debit card, went back to store to make sure that receipt was correct without any mistakes / issues, same sales person spoke to me again, she reminded me 10 days to return or exchange the item if required not as an order, not mandatory, retail stores can not issue orders to the paying customers, she also mentioned store credit as a gift card, paid from my own money as I always do. Also visited the Service Ontario Employment centre in the same mall where I attended some programs in 2006/2007 under job connect and other banners. I suggested that since before they were running job connect program, now 20 years later they should offer a program called employment counselors reconnect program. When I compare this situation (of employment programs) with my past i.e. situation before coming to Canada in 1993, I find it hard to understand that why in Canada they subject immigrants (Engineers) through such programs why not directly hire them for employment based on the previous pre immigration work, if they did not know the work, will not last long. For 12 years (1981-1993) before coming to Canada I was never required, never needed any employment programs, I managed it myself without any counselors. Perhaps it was just a technique to create employment protection for them.
July 03 of 2025: (گھر) visited Action Housing on 3rd floor of 150 Montreal Rd, when I was reading the poster on the door, a woman opened the door came out and spoke to me. Looks like they were closing the business at that location and restarting somewhere else. So I decided to visit my previous contact at “housing help” which used to be at Cooper St. in downtown Ottawa, is now located at CARLING.
July 03 of 2025: around 10h15: visited the laws offices on the 4th floor of 1-Nicholas St in Downtown OTTAWA Canada in the vicinity of Ottawa mission to show them my physical presence and to remind them about my upcoming meeting with lawyer —-, I presented myself at the reception of the office on 4th floor as a person with complete name (not by incomplete name, I can not convert myself into more than one of myself, i.e. I can not make myself as two halves)..
July 03 of 2025: This morning I bought a household item from a DOLLARAMA store at ELMVALE mall, I asked the cashier to put a sticker on the bottle (item purchased), cashier said, sticker was not available, receipt was enough. In the past retail stores used to put a Sticker on the items which were hand carried. By not using the stickers some retail stores may accuse customers falsely of stealing. It would be a good idea that they start using stickers on certain items at check out. It appears to me that these days retail stores are being operated like a mom and pop household businesses by domestic women or by women who were NOT suitable for retail industry, but not like departmental or retail stores operated by corporations in the past. As per my observation daily changing overnight staff is not interested in providing better quality services to customers (not referring to any specific store or specific staff), some coffeeshops and restaurants have similar issues.
July 02 of 2025: I have discarded my transparent umbrella which I bought in summer of 2024 in Ottawa, at Walkley station near Preston machines. No worries,
July 02 of 2025: I just used automated IVR system of luckymobile to make a payment. This transaction highlighted and reminded me, the over use of word “security code”, merchants should consider to reword their prompts on the phone IVR systems, such as instead of asking for security code ask for the CVV code etc. also not all the card providers have a signature pad, but the merchants still refer to signature pad on the back of the card.
July 02 of 2025: ( گھر) Action Housing called in the morning around 09h30 when I was on a OC transpo vehicle. Since it was noisy in the vehicle, I said “I will call back” to talk to the staff regarding my housing matter (I was referred to action housing located at Montreal Rd by Housing help located at CARLING). I was back at my place by noon time, In the afternoon I called action housing around 13h15 from my apartment 307 but no one from action housing answered my two calls, their answering system was not setup to accept voice messages and abruptly ended both of my calls after narrating a recorded message.
July 02 of 2025: Ottawa mission food distribution truck was seen on the premises of the building around 13h00.
July 02 of 2025: came back to one of my previous neighbourhoods after a long trip of the morning by OC Transpo transit. Also visited Altavista library where I used to visit frequently with my offsprings for their library needs during 1996 – 1998 from Palm Gates apartments, Palm St. K1H 8J9 in my white Pontiac Grandam.
July 01 of 2025: fireworks shots were heard around 20h46.
Canada Day 2025: out and about in Ottawa since 05h45, stepped out of my building around 09h45 after eating my self prepared breakfast, restaurants in the neighbourhood were closed early morning. I saw two FedEx delivery trucks at the same time outside the building, one truck was delivering at the building door and the other truck was seen heading towards Haig Dr. on Russell Rd. I ate my lunch at a restaurant in downtown. Many roads were barricaded in downtown area due to Canada Day Celebrations. OC Transpo was free of fare payment today for public. Many restaurants were closed.
July 01 of 2025: Rent payment day, out of my BMO chequing account, account has been debited to transfer to housing company OCH., was confirmed by printing a mini statement on July 02 of 2025. Since banks were closed on July 01, this transaction will be posted on July 02, due to Canada Day holiday, not due to tenant’s negligence.
July 01 of 2025: Data collectors or unauthorized spies on the phone. Recently two calls in the voice of men were received they wanted to know which phone company I was using and they wanted to know if I can speak any Urdu. They sounded like far away villagers or paindoos (پینڈوُ), I declined to tell them, because they were not authentic and just wanted to steal information to create problems for me (based on my similar experiences from the past) by using their influential resources, they find a contact in the company to wire tap or block my communication at critical moments, that is called governance now a days.
