May 11 of 2025: back at my place after visiting some of the places where I lived in the past in Ottawa. Lot of people with families were seen in various places today, perhaps because now it was getting warmer and nicer and milder weather in Ottawa. Visited CONROY and lorry Greenberg, ward 10 community centre where library was located, hunt club to south key station and back via Corson Italia, bank street, Billings bridge station, Hurdman station and st. Laurent station. In the morning visited the the lobby of science museum, took few out door pictures around the museum and the locomotive engines pictures. In the past visited the museum with my offsprings between the year 1996-1998 and also once a IEEE meeting in the auditorium of the museum between the year 2008-2010 when I volunteered for IEEE Ottawa section.
May 10 of 2025: many buses were irregular not follow posted schedule at Lincoln Fields station between 15h30 and 16h30 as if some one was sending instructions to hold these buses. Noticeably so was route 85.
May 09 of 2025: a loud motor bike causing thunder like exhaust/muffler sound was heard outside the building around 20h00. Perhaps Harley motor bike or similar.
May 09 of 2025: my main language for every day use is English and my mother language is URDU, little bit exposure to Arabic but not any other language such as Russian or pRussian etc. neither any variation or dialect of these languages.
May 07 of 2025: a questionnaire was received in my inbox from Koodo/Telus regarding cancellation of services, since I am not Koodo/Telus customer/subscriber, does not apply to me it was irrelevant and bogus to ask such questions. Please refrain from it. Thank you.
May 07 of 2025: explored the Preston St to find a bankruptcy trustee, wrote email messages to KPMG Toronto office. Also visited the CLSO at bank St and submitted a print of the lease from my archives, to identify the issues, my rent was fully paid, tenant package insurance was active, etc. since it was a rainy afternoon, came back to my apartment from Billings Bridge by a Taxi, Ottawa mission food truck was seen in front of the built g as I entered the building through the B side entrance to get to my apartment.
May 07 of 2025: Before new ways implementation of April 27, OC Transpo route 55 used to run on Catherine St to go to OW office, now it is route 85. OC route 55 was replaced by OC route 85.
May 06 of 2025: a man on route 44 at the HEATHERINGTON stop made a rude gesture to take my seat when the opposite seat was also available. A questionable behavior. All the seat of the front row were not occupied. Time 09h55
May 05 of 2025: I was referred to a company that processes bankruptcies located, in down town at 280 Metcalf but the building has no stairs for public, a floor mopping janitor told me that it requires a key and she did not have the key. Elevator looks very old, may get stuck, stairs must be open for visiting public use in emergency and to get to lower floors. I decided not to use the elevator. Arrived at the buildings around 16h20
May 05 of 2025: tenants circle meeting was in progress around 14h44 in the building lounge, I took a peek,e many people were seen attending the meeting including a man who operates the AIP office. Perhaps the whole group was of building or OCH staff instead of tenants. Perhaps, was a work group meeting. Around same time two OCH security vehicles were seen in front of the building. One vehicle left few minutes before the other vehicle. bus at the building stop 7157 arrived after that.
May 05 of 2025: visited apple tree medical centre around 11h45 to consult one of my physicians from the past, updated my contact info in their kiosk.
May 05 of 2025: first payment to insurance company was confirmed this morning when I call the company around 10h05, it was debited from my bank account over the week end. Transaction was posted on the statement on May 06 of 2025. I pre authorized.
May 04 of 2025: in ottawa, indoors most of the day, went out doors in the evening for a walk around the neighbour hood. An unaccompanied child was seen on route 5 bound for waller St.
May 04 of 2025: when I was heading towards side A stairs door around 12h40, a man was seen in the corridor standing at a apartment door around a black cubicle shape object like a counter top personal beverage cooler. Same man was seen entering the trash room near the elevators with the same cubicle object and perhaps exited through the back door, I guessed it by the sound of a closing door when I was around my letter box. Also more than one vehicles were seen outside the front door, as if were waiting for some one.
May 04 of 2025: Reminder that my current tenant insurance policy for my apartment 307 in a OCH building is with “thePersonal” Insurance company effective April 24 of 2025, first letter of the policy is “H” followed by some numbers. Following was the link to my insurance policy.
May 03 of 2025: back in my apartment arouvd 20h00-
May 03 of 2025: fido mobile phone company took $130.40 from my card without any service or equipment and not yet fully refunded just a small portion of it ($32.70) was reversed to my card. There was no publicly known phone number available to call to speak to the relevant department of the company to get my money back, or to find out the reason for it etc.
May 02 of 2025: Credit memo into my account dated in November 2024 complain #: ECMS20250210-1025, Still remains unresolved. OCH did not return any money in November 2024 to Scotiabank. Moreover as I know it, a return from a company payment (i.e. reversal of a payment) will not require a credit memo to put the money back in customers account, a different instrument/transaction was used for such returns, which did not happen in November 2024. There were two wrongs in this situation that OCH did not push back (reversal) any payment in November 2024, and second is that credit memo was irrelevant to any payment reversal. Perhaps it was some kind of courtesy deposit by the bank, customer appreciation deposit like account opening bonus etc. which is done manually, approved on a paper memo signed by couple of officers to approve etc.
May 01 of 2025: Paid my rent for this month to OCH by bank automated payment system which was setup in 2024 and can not be stopped except by the originator i.e. Engr. {(male) KhalidMahmood}. Payment confirmed by BMO alert notification to my inbox.
May 01 of 2025: this morning around 07h47 when I purchased hash browns with coffee, the price of the hash browns was steep for the type of fast food place of a McDonald’s, over all it was not a good value for money. Young people working at this place were not attentive to the customers as if they have something else on their minds to keep busy.
May 01 of 2025: In the past when rent was paid in person, personal cheques were acceptable (in addition to cash) by almost all the housing or condos companies, and the records of the cheques returned by the bank to tenant was considered authentic receipts. Once rent was paid to the authorized receiver it was never made an issue, transactions used to be honest. Now days one person pays rent perhaps somebody else gets the receipts, and the rent receiver does not want to talk about the rent receipts as if they were using the receipts for something else or some frauds etc. Because of some ones backing they will come up with all kind of justifications around not issuing receipts as was experienced by me in the past in Hamilton and some other places. It was possible to write back dated cheques for future rents for whole year, but nowadays people have forgotten all such highly secure and acceptable practices of the past. Mainly because the level of honesty has diminished or disappeared completely and they want to benefit by disputes.
May 06 of 2025: flashing light vehicles were seen at many places along the RIDEAU St in downtown and along the Bank St. on way to Billings bridge around 22h30. Also at Heron and walked fork across near palm gates apartments around 23h24 vehicles with flashing lights perhaps due to construction work by the night crew.
