April 01 of 2025: Rent for this month has been deducted, gone out of my bank account for the month of April 2025. I have paid my rent on the first day of the month. Documented by the monthly rent paying genuine Lessee tenant of OCH since 2023. Also obtained a statement printed from a bank officer to make sure that rent payment transaction was completed.
April 01 of 2025: on my way to a trustee to file a bankruptcy, not fooling around, for real.
April 01 of 2025: this afternoon I was given a privacy document unsigned form by the H&R block (the tax preparer). H&R block (the tax preparer) should guarantee that any tax related documents submitted will not be missed and will not be used by anyone else other than the owner of the documents, the tax payer/filer through (facilitated by) H&R Block.
April 02 of 2025: couple of letters were in my letter box when I checked my letterbix around 14h35 upon coming back from Westgate mall. One of the letters was from OCH, a reminder to have tenant’s insurance policy renewed. I have already done that at the time of Lease renewal in 2024. Such a reminder seems to be of no use, because tensnts’ policy renewal is linked to the lease renewal not the calender year.
April 02 of 2025: Today, I called CRA to obtain a record of my previous tax returns filed by trustee on my behalf.
April 02 of 2025: Independent grocery store of Elmvale shopping is selling a different grocery bag which is different shap and size. When I asked for the reason, cashier did not know the reason, I find it very strange, in the past trained cashiers used to call a manager or some one else to find the answer instead of just saying don’t know. On
April 02 of 2025: can openers were missing when I needed to open a can this evening. I wonder if this was related to the Kuwait airport incident of December 2023 where my can openers were taken away from my bags at the airport during transit without issuing a receipt for it. I did not allow anyone to use my absence at all. I have hand written notes at the entrance which no one can over ride accept authentic court order based on truth not based on misinformation/disinformation.
April 03 of 2025: other side of the building where I am a genuine Signatory Lessee rent paying tenant since 2023.
April 03 of 2025: H&R block payment receipt provide by the glebe location does not show rounding, a change due back of $5.09 was returned to me as $5.10 because physical cent coins were not in use in Canada but H&R block register accounting system should take this into account and should print rounded amount cash in or cash out. On a card (electronic payment) this will never be an issue but for cash transactions this must be clarified by rounding on the receipt. Or even better round it to the nearest note, i.e. no coins at all, so $5.09 should be cash back as $5.00 no smaller coins at all. TD Canada trust bank was involved in the same practice, for one, two, three, or four cent change back to customer after a bill payment etc. e.g. , a nickel coin ($0.05) was returned to the customer, as was experienced by me at two branches, once when I paid a bill by cash payment and another incident was at a different branch when I closed a chequing account within 24 hours after setting up due to some serious name issues in December 2024, closing balance was less than a nickel, just few cents, but bank officer returned a coin of 5 cents, as a standard practice of the bank.
April 03 of 2025: Visited OCH office at Chapel but was closed, tried to call OCH number, recorded a message for rent coordinator Abit Arraj information her about my fully paid rent, not owing any rent, also my Tenants package insurance was renewed at the time of lease renewal in 2024, insurance was known to me from past due to my previous professional organization. If OCH records are different or of the records were altered to show some different information they should talk to me or my rent coordinator directly. All my rent payments after OW ended in 2023 were made out of my bank accounts electronically.
April 03 of 2025: before visiting OCH, I visited CAA near Walmart to discuss about my membership, their records were showing membership suspended. Word suspended does not make sense and does not apply for a CAA membership which is optional, not mandatory. Word suspended is commonly used for govt. or other official position where suspended flag means they loose their job related perks of the active duty as a punishment for a certain period of time due to crimes they committed. CAA membership is not in that category.
April 04 of 2025: starting with a natural phenoma in the universe i.e. lightning and human made power/energy source electricity, word electronics is relevant, electricity (i.e. source of power/energy) and electrons are the basis of modern devices (semiconductors etc.), so anything that contains electrons (micro-chips, wires, and similar materials) should belong to and must be under the ownership of Engineers (excluding human beings). I want to talk to all those who disagree with this, but must be with logic and reason and sensibility, not with hooliganism, not with bullyism, not as a childish tantrums or any other kind of superiority, or elitism.
April 05 of 2025: This morning called H&R block to discuss the issue with the payment slip dated March 31 of 2025, I am waiting for the formal payment receipt out of CAD$ 100.00, I paid to the tax preparer/facilitator H&R block to submit my T1 to CRA on my behalf. Also wrote an email to H&R block glebe with an attachment describing the issue with the payment slip, and the need for a corrected formal payment receipt out of CAD $100.00 – only one T1 income tax filing is required for one Social Insurance Number by using the complete name, it is not (absolutely NOT) two filings using the given name and family name separately, moreover, T1 is filed by the SIN number.
April 05 of 2025: CRA T1 income tax package which I ordered in March 2025 over the phone was received after I completed T1 filing at an H&R Block Glebe location in Ottawa. I have returned the T1 tax package back to CRA because only one filing was required, some where package was delayed in the mail delivery chain and delivered to me late in April as if some one wanted me to file duplicate T1. No no no no, I don’t file duplicate T1 returns by the first name and by the last name.
April 05 of 2025: a rainy and windy day in Ottawa, took a bus route 46 to one of my old neighbor hoods for some quick shopping and back via bank street OCH near Billings bridge. round trip of about 2 hours 13h30 to 15h30 back in my apartment. I saw a man and a woman busy talking in the lobby across from the elevators, I walked through corridor A, a man and a woman were seen cleaning in the AIP office, man thought I was Sir, I told him I was not Sir, office was closed for public work but they were in there for cleaning work.
April 05 of 2025: Received a sms/text message from Scotiabank card to make a payment, I immediately made a payment to the card out of my bank account and called card line around 18h00 to informat them about the payment made.
April 06 of 2025: trip to downtown area to see night lights and night views.
April 07 of 2025: I was outdoors since morning, came back to the building around 16h00. Several people were seen in the lobby mostly women, one woman was seen pushing a cart out of the front door. Troy Life fire safety was in the building, almost a monthly event., as per a poster seen on the glass door. in the lobby.
April 08 of 2025: I wrote an email message to H&R block, no one responded, I made few calls to H&R Block, but they have not yet issued a formal payment receipt after taking a $100.00 note from me on March 31 of 2025. In this situation I would consider no response from H&R block to my email as a confirmation and formal receipt from H&R block. I paid by a $100.00 note and got change due back as $5.09 rounded to $5.10 services and fee paid $94.91 –
April 08 of 2025: people were seen working in the laundry on floor 1 in the lobby of the building using power tools around 09h40.
April 08 of 2025: I checked my letter box 307 around 11h20 and found some junk mail with the cbooks ordered recently from Scotiabank.
April 08 of 2025: Beeping sounds originating from the annunciator panel in the lobby near main entrance/exit were heard around 14h30. Two lights amber and red were seen on the panel, perhaps both lights were flashing with the beeps. Stairs A smoke etc in the description.
April 09 of 2025: I am not a subscriber of any fido™ products or services monthly or prepaid so why they steal money from my card. They should provide me itemized details of the following money taken from my card.
When I Called 18884813436 to talk to them, IVR has only two options, do this or that, choose 1 or 2 and none applies to me. Because I am not their customer and I do not want to become their new customer. So, how to talk to them to find out about this unauthorized transaction. This is very disturbing. This may be compared to stealing money from a customer’s i.e Engr. {(male) KhalidMahmood}’s cards without any reason. They must enhance their IVR to handle other issues as well such as this one. If fido was reading this, must call me to talk to me about it. This was true on this day, next time I called IVR was playing different message.
April 09 of 2025: At the time of lease signing in 2023, a tenant package insurance policy was required, I was given few names by the house ng workers of Ottawa mission, I chose Marsh Group because of my past link with them (IEEE), first policy was paid by OW based on my OW file #, records of the policy was submitted to OCH and OW. At the time of lease renewal in 2024 I renewed the policy with March in July 2024 and was submitted to OCH, renewal was paid by me from my own pocket with my own money. OCH wrote me a reminder to renew policy recently in March 2025, I wonder why ? Tenant policy renewal is required at the time of Lease renewal, it is not done by the calendar year. I have done that renewal in 2024. Just a reminder to inexperienced learners that home/tenants insurance renewal is synchronized with the lease renewal but not with the calendar year. If someone rented in January than it may be in synch with the calendar year otherwise not necessary.
April 09 of 2025: So I called Marsh Group to find out the status of my policy and update the records with OCH, the staff on the phone was not able to locate any policy in name, very strange, perhaps the persons authorization level to access the ords was not sufficient to get to my policy.
April 09 of 205: I have a printed image/record of my renewed tenants insurance policy, valid for the entire lease year, next renewal will be in July of this year.
April 09 of 2025: Wrote an email to OW contacts and FECentral to provide a record of the payment made the Marsh Group for tenant insurance package in 2023.
April 09 of 2025: At staples it was suggested to me that it would cheaper if I print (i.e. policy documents) myself at the selfserve machines. I knew that, but the reason for getting it printed by the staples staff was to avoid any issues at the machines such as out of paper, paper jam etc. other maintenance issues, which are interpreted negatively by the newly hired staff and management. I have been using self serve and paid services of Staples/office max/office depot for many years since around 2006, when these machines and equipment was newly installed. But over years because of wear and tear and usage it has developed some issues which are not taken care of by the suppliers.
April 09 of 2025: durability of the bag bought from Temu (on line shopping) failed the test, and broke the zipper in mall, to cause a man shap, which I got under control quickly, around 17h00 , a beverage in South Keys area.
April 10 of 2025: I have retrieved from my archives, the financial statement of my card I used to make a payment to XN Insurance services of Montreal / Marsh Group for second tenants insurance policy in July 2024. First policy was paid for by the OW social assistance in July 2023 as part of my Housing lease before OAS payments started. In a rule of law setup this should not be a dispute because this was done according to the existing laws of insurance and housing lease requirements. A suggestion to the insurance companies and brokers to complete some initial in-person paper work at the time of signing a insurance policy and attach a picture of the owner of the insurance policy with the paper work to avoid any future disputes and frauds. I am anti fraud.
April 10 of 2025: A tall shaved head darker skin man was seen heading towards B side stairs door on floor 3 around 10h24 when I opened my apartment 307 door after hearing some noises.
April 10 of 2025: I am present physically in my apartment at my ID address, because I decided to remain indoors to take care of some important matters such as tenant insurance etc. Google browser was showing wrong location.
April 10 of 2025: I called and spoke to XN financial Toronto and Marsh Canada regarding my tenants package insurance arouvd 14h00. Policy was up-to-date fully paid, next renewal will be in July of this year.
April 10 of 2025: a young man was seen coming out of the elevators around 20h05 with a little stubby dog when I was waiting in the lobby to use the elevator. Same person was seen entering the lobby from outdoors with stubby little white dog around 20h11, I was waiting for the OC Transpo.
April 10 of 2025: wrong route #19 was display inside vehicle # 4606 around 21h39 bound for Billings bridge from Hurdman, got corrected after few stops to route 46.
April 11 of 2025: busy getting quotes from insurance companies for renters/tenants package fory apartment, in addition to Marsh Group Insurance which started in 2023 with my lease of OCH arranged by Housing worker and social worker of Ottawa Mission, no history of the apartment was provided to me, despite asking for it.
April 11 of 2025: transfered my tenant package insurance policy to another insurance provider which I knew from my past circa 1996-1998, submitted the original insurance certificate to the housing company on my way back home around 15h45. This new company printed name on the insurance certificate which matched with the driver’s licence when a comma was inserted after the Family name/Surname. I mentioned this to the staff that a comma was missing. It makes it match with my name on the lease as well (Mahmood, Khalid), one person lease. Looks like that company has not upgraded their computer software to take care of it automatically when printing the insurance certificate. I declined the offer to setup the web login to my tenants insurance account on company website. It was heard that tenant’s insurance is not mandatory for a lease but liability insurance is mandatory, mandatory liability insurance is property owner’s responsibility.
April 12 of 2025: today was spring like weather around 10h15 in Ottawa, outdoors.
April 12 of 2015: according to new ways to bus plan of OC Transpo route 46 in both directions around my building 1909 Russell Rd will be replaced by an extended version of route 48 and route 55 will be replaced by an extended version of route 5 effective April 27.
April 12 of 2025: Michael’s bakery coffee shop in the mall was still keeping the customer copy of the receipt and issuing a wrong copy of the transaction of the card transaction 12h45.
April 13 of 2025: I did not get off the bus 40 vehicle 6534 at OC Transpo depot stop around 16h14, I was still in the bus, heading towards home. Two OC transpo staff got off the bus at the OC depot. One of these two OC Transpo staff boarded the bus under the bridge, he came running out of the community passage stopped the bus and boarded the bus, why would he not board the bus when the bus was at the station. Perhaps he was checking his timings to see if he can catch the bus, or perhaps not be seen by the cameras at the station, taking the bus. I was back in my apartment about 30 minutes ago around 16h30.
April 13 of 2025: ‘Hot dog’ used to be very commonly used word around me few years ago, now all those yellers of the words have vanished.
April 14 of 2025: school crossing guards (holding a stop sign) duties at the traffic lights in the neighbourhoods should be explained.
April 14 of 2025: called the Desjardin/Statefarm insurance from the Tim Hortons coffee shop, to find out the monthly payments. I asked if Marsh sent them any cancellation from the previous policy. Marsh/XN is taking too long to issue tenant policy cancellation it was effective April 12, informed them on April 11 of 2025.
April 14 of 2025: bulging and oversized back packs perhaps more depth than their own body depth. In Brampton school kids are required to remove the back packs when on the public bus. School bus may have different rules. City of Ottawa should do the same. Students don’t realize the problem it causes for others, it reduce the space in the bus for other passengers.
April 15 of 2025: today I got a wrong response from Scotiabank regarding a credit memo in November 2024, one of two payments were applied to November 2024 rent and the second payment was applied to December 2024 rent payment. Scotiabank response is very misleading and wrong. It was already confirmed by OCH that December 2024 rent was applied on first of that month. It was already discussed several times. Spoke to Scotiabank around 12h45 about this matter that this was incorrect information/response. OCH did not refund any money in November 2024. Scotiabank took nearly six months to respond to it but it was far from truth and unacceptable. Continued on page 2 of April 2025 Logbook –
April 15 of 2025: during the past few weeks of April black and blue police vehicles were seen by me several times cruising together in different parts of the city, which was unusual and noticeable.
