TO THE ATTENTION OF fido mobile phone company and TO WHOM IT MAY INTEREST/CONCERN/APPLY.
During the process of porting the mobile number 613-413-9812 from Fido to Chatr it was thoroughly checked that nothing was owed and accounts was clear during a period of about 25 hours.
I am not a fido customer, I am not using any products and/or services from fido, so financial institution please disobey all transactions from fidobor other merchants to debit my card.
Recently one such transaction from Telus/Koodo was resolved, which took more than two weeks to get my money back.
Now on March 21 of 2025 around 10h00 I was notified by a financial institute PC financial WMC that a fido transaction was pending, I have locked my card, notified the financial institution, I want to find out how effective these measures were to protect the consumers interest. Or, are these measures suggested by the financial institutions just hoax and ineffective. I called PC financial and spoke to them on the phone about this matter in my own voice.
So, if a customer did not follow these measures suggested by the financial institution, they will blame customer for not following the recommendation, and close the account and other problems. I have followed their recommendations and techniques to protect my card so now I should blame them for facilitating a merchant take money from my account that I am not a customer of,
