TO THE ATTENTION OF OCH housing company, TO WHOM IT MAY INTEREST/CONCERN that rent payment for the month of February 2025 has been taken from my BMO bank account on first day of the month which happens to be on a Saturday, I have a printed mini statement from the BMO ATM machine, which shows rent payment transaction as 3rd of February, so it was not a future transaction, transaction has already taken place because my account has been debited by the rent amount, because of the weekend, statement will show it on first working day of the month Monday the 3rd, but it is not late payment because payment has already been made. Don’t believe any swindlers, liars, crooks, illusionists. Fraud makers etc., if any doubts talk to lawyers, bankers or Tenant board.

Rent paid for the month of February 2025 on First day of the month. But because of the weekend it will be posted in bank statements as a transaction on February 03 of 2025. Rent Money has gone out of my account. I fulfilled my responsibility. Any delays is because of the system related issues or human interventions, or games of deception and defamation.

PS: In Canada, when a bank transaction takes place on a week end (sometimes even Friday transactions), it gets reported on the statement on the next working day or Monday, as the case may be.

Banks should enhance customer statements to show the actual date of transaction as a comment on the statement, in addition to the date it was posted. In some situations, it was a legal requirement to know the actual transaction date, although it was not difficult to figure it out, but only for those who understand the system.
