How the words “filing bankruptcy” were interpreted. A person who needs protection from creditors (due to inability to pay debt) files bankruptcy as permitted by the legal system. Insolvency company who provides these services files bankruptcy for the person in debt. Wording of it may be confusing. From my past experience “KPMG filed bankruptcy” for me at my request, meaning KPMG did the legal process for me, and I say ” I filed bankruptcy” so does that mean one bankruptcy would cover both parties. In this situation by looking at the wordings of it, who was bankrupt, KPMG or Engr. {(male) KhalidMahmood}.
