TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN/INTEREST

Following are the two definitions/meanings of the word “credit” depending on the use of the word “credit” as described by the dictionaries on the internet.

Surplus money in account because of advance payment is known as “in credit”.
Unpaid money to be paid later is “on credit” or debt.

Word credit is misunderstood in many situations or wrongly used to described a situation.

“Credit” is also an asset that is earned, such as students earn credits by completing the coursework.
