July 01 of 2024: I ate my morning meal at eggspectation restaurant located at Bank street and Laurier, came out around 08h30-08h40, walked to the TD place. Since there were no reserved seatings for Engineers, I decided to opt out of the invitation and observe from outside the building 49 (or perhaps 50). My physical presence was outside the Aberdeen pavilion, not inside. I called Ottawa 311 this morning before taking a bus to downtown but the city staff was busy and call was ended.
July 01 of 2024: came back to my apartment 307 around 13h00 from Aberdeen Pavilion building 49 via city hall down town and Hurdman Station where I loaded my epurse of my presto in addition to my monthly pass. Went out again around 15h00 and came back to my apartment by 17h00.
July 01 of 2024: Three police vehicles were seen around the building 1909 Russell Rd., on the front side when I was getting ready to step out of my apartment 307 around 17h30.
July 01 of 2024: Fireworks shots were heard starting at 21h25 somewhere in the neighbourhood.
July 02 of 2924: went to Central park area Time Hortons located at Merivale road for morning meal.
July 02 of 2924: Received a call from OCH around 09h25 regarding August 01 for annual review letter mailed to me. I told the person on the phone that I have submitted documents four times in the month of June 2024. Waiting for the letter because it has already been mailed out. Person called me by my incomplete name so I clarified my complete name {Khalid Mahmood} as was written on the lease (Mahmood, Khalid) خالدمحمود, I wonder if this was being done by the first name and last name. Because comma format of my name was used on some of the documents of the lease at the time of signing. Who knows ??. The inexperienced staff of OCH (or the people reading it in other parts of the world) may consider this comma format name as two different individuals, they should be reminded that legal work is done by complete names, so when they make two complete names out of a comma format names, both names will come out to be {Khalid Mahmood}.
July 03 of 2024: I ate my morning meal at a breakfast restaurant in my first Ottawa neighbourhood near Palm gates apartments at 1670 Heron Rd.
After eating my meal at the above restaurant visited the OCH Bank street location near Billings bridge station, to see mee Kayla, I was given a printed letter by the staff. Followed the instructions and called Gains (provincial) , OAS (Service Canada) and OW (FE Central) to provide the documents for housing company OCH, final letter.
Two fresh graduates of Brock University – St. Catharines, I met at Krypton systems in Ottawa in 1996 used to live in the same apartments building where OCH office was located at Bank Street.
July 04 of 2024: This morning I received one response letter by email in word format from OW Ottawa to submit to OCH housing company. Now I was waiting for the other (got the verbal response and details about the contents of the document on July 03 over the phone) document from Service Canada. In the meantime dead line date for documents submission has been extended by OCH, when I visited the OCH Bank Street office in person at 08h30. All locations of OCH and all department of OCH please beware of it that the last date to submit documents has been extended on July 04 of 2024.
July 04 of 2024: around 11h15 Hurdman Station bound route 46 missed a stop under the bridge and made a wide turn into the next lane before turning right on the Bank Street out of Billings bridge Station. Where as bus route 48 bound for Elmvale Station made the correct stop under the bridge few minutes earlier. But the electronic fare box/tap machine of the route 48 was defective.
July 04 of 2024: visited the OCH chapel Street location to talk to them about the extended date to submit documents, was around 14h30, got a waiting number of 84 which was for a different lineup (for registry). I was already registered in 2023 by the housing workers of the shelter.
After that visited the scotiabank branch spark Street to get some cash and to find out about the cancellation of unauthorized transactions by a specific merchant on May 29 and deposits by revenue Canada. I was told to wait, it will show up in my account after mid night. Exchanged the twenty dollar bank notes from Scotia Bank ATM with hundred and fifty dollar bank notes at the TD Bank branch.
July 05 of 2024: after visiting a elected representative office to understand my provincial IDs, I learned (in my words) that people who check Id they look for a objection on id, if the address was current and correct on id, still they will will look for another objection on it, most commonly it will be expiry date. Expiry date on a licence should matter for police work only (related to driving and vehicles not for another purpose or motives), in my opinion, expiry date should not matter for any other checks. Driver’s licence in a province along with current and up-to-date health card issued by the same province should be sufficient for legal matters regardless of the expiry date because health card shows the validity date as well. This is not a criticism, just my opinion. I wonder what was the significance of expiry date on a licence if some one has no vehicle to drive or park, it may be useful for car rentals etc.
Around 15h00 the service Ontario Bank Street location was out of capacity and no waiting line numbers were available.
The clerk at the desk at city Hall location of service Ontario did NOT issue a waiting line number to me at 16h00, I was told 25 people were waiting. I have a online appt. for next week, made by myself.
July 06 of 2024: around 18h45 as I was getting ready to step out of my apartment 307, I heard voices in the corridor, when I opened the door I saw a fireman walking towards side B stairs. I went outdoors through the side A stairs, a fire truck was seen in front of the building, which left shortly after I went outdoors. I took bus route 40 from the Science museum stop to go the mall, instead I went to the wall Mart by route #19 from st. Laurent station. It was not raining. At wallmart Ottawa Trainyards, there I saw long lineups with full carts, so I cancelled my shopping and came out of the store, by the time I walked to the stop, it started raining, bus arrived after a long time. Did not go to another store due to rain, just came back to my apartment via Billings bridge station by 20h45.
July 07 of 2024: Fire alrams started around 10h15 in this building at 1909 Russell Rd., I rushed to the lobby on ground floor, alarm annunciator panel was showing fire on the 5th floor. I stepped out of the building. No trucks yet, I wonder if the s a real for or dummy for to cause panic and to bring people out of their safety of home. I just heard fire trucks around 10h21.
July 08 of 2024 : my Lenovo ideapad1 and Samsung Galaxy Book GO wifi laptop which I bought from Best Buy retail store in 2023 were hacked in my absence from the country (between March 2024 and May 2024), it was not worth fixing them because they were inexpensive (each less than CAD$200.00) and discontinued by the manufacturers, obsolete technology, many problems etc., not working properly, like junk toys.
July 08 of 2024: today I will deal with the renewal issue of my Ontario driver’s licence, which never happened all these years since the licence was issued to me in April 1994.
Got it under control around 08h45, paid CAD$90.00 cash, health card was still valid and current. There was no change of address on any Id.
Experienced a technological failure around 11h15, but an alternate method was available to use to avoid blockade/hurdle/obstacle which was presented to me as a technological failure. Made couple of one dollar transactions at a retail store to ascertain the robustness of the alternate method. I am the one who used to have the top R rated credit score by 1996 after arrival in Canada in December 1993. This information can be checked from the credited bureaus and is available on records since 1993. Now some people use mean and low level techniques to make problems for me after so many years, covered with sugar coated words, perhaps. Who knows !!.
July 08 of 2024: firealarms were heard and fire trucks ems vehicles were seen around bay shore shopping mall in Ottawa around 15h00. I used to live in this area after moving out of Palm Gates apartments in 1998.
July 09 of 2024: this morning around 10h45 found the awaited letters from service Canada and from Ontario in my letter box 307. Submitted these two and one from OW to OCH by email. Called the tenants relations worker to confirm that these three documents were received by the OCH systems.
July 10 of 2024: an ambulance was seen outside the building around 15 minutes after midnight, perhaps to attend to a medical emergency in the building.
July 10 of 2024: went to Kanata to see the places where I used to work during 1996-1998 and attended several detailed workshops/programs such OTI and ITO 2.0 etc. in 2006-2008 and on and off many years after that. During the period 1996-1998 I used to drive my Pontiac Grand AM and parked my car in the parking in front of the building 555 Leggett Dr.
July 10 of 2024: I was approached by CTV reporter at St. Laurent Station when I was waiting for route 40 to provide some feedback about OCTranspo, was not a good time for it, it was rainy and getting back to my apartment was of importance for me, so I said some other time. Also I got back to my apartment 307 at 1909 Russell Rd, via Elmvale Station, safely, without getting soaked up/wet and without splashes, so OC transpo service was acceptable. I will be happy to talk to CTV reporters/crew when I was paid for my time.
July 11 of 2024: some times these OCtranspo bus drivers ignore the waving riders at the bus stop and just leave as if they did not see them, I wonder who gives them such instructions when to take and when to leave the riders at the stop. Because drivers themselves can not recognize the riders so well, themselves, obviously they get instructed from somewhere other than their own information. Documented at Elmvale stop 8810 around 14h40.
July 11 of 2024: I saw a poster on the third floor for a tenants circle meeting. I was around in the lobby, since 15h00, did not see many tenants going for the meeting, so perhaps this meeting was commercial tenants or workers of the building. I am a residential Lessee Tenant in this building 1909 Russell since August 2023. A familiar face person in a wheel chair was seen coming out of elevator 2 in the lobby soon after I spoke to Bell Canada around 15h30. Nobody from the meeting came to ask me to join, so I went to the lounge around 16h00, and meeting got adjourned withing 5 minutes or so. Since the table was full so I sat on one of the sofas near the wall painting. After the meeting, I spoke to one senior man who was writing some notes. I took elevator number 2 to go to my floor #3, the old man got off the elevator on floor two, there was another man in the elevator who pushed for floor 5. Name of the man with medical equipment I was talking to sounded like one of the case workers around 2007 of my Ontario Works case files.
July 11 of 2024: just returned to my apartment 307 in Ottawa Ontario Canada after a quick grocery trip from I dependent store at Elmvale Shopping centre. Cashier did not apply 50% off on one item as was marked on the product 6038307066. Paid by cash two ten cad $ and two $2.00 coins = $24.00 change due back $1.10
July 12 of 2024: I wonder who was holding (to cause delays in peoples life or perhaps some kind of unknown special management techniques i.e. governance tricks) buses on this day in Ottawa Ontario Canada since the morning.
July 12 of 2024: several usually loud door banging/closing were heard on floor 3 in the vicinity of my apartment 307 between 19h00 and 21h00.
July 13 of 2024: Some police and OC Transpo joint activity was seen around Hazeldeen and Terry Fox /(near Sobey’s grocery store in Kanata) intersection around 14h30. Bus stop near McDonald’s was blocked by one of the vehicles, multi vehicle event. Was like some kind of joint operation. I used a different route to get back to my apartment via tunney’s pasture. Before taking bus route 40 from St. Laurent Station bought some food essentials from Adoni’s grocery store, some prices were higher than other stores.
July 14 of 2024: indoors most of the day, except short walks outdoors.
July 15 of 2024: this morning I received an email from Revenue Canada regarding some eligibility and residential issues for the year 2023, immediately responded to the email and now I am waiting on hold in the phone since 08h30 to talk to the department to find out why this happened, most likely rumours and misinformation/disinformation. Also I received a letter from OCH regarding some rent calculations for the past, I disagree with the letter.
CRA staff on the phone said Something about immigration date etc. (my date of arrival/landed on Dec 2 of 1993 as a family of three), I am a Citizen, they require adjustment form filled etc. I asked them to send it to me by post to be able to understand it, what this was all about, all these years since 2006 I was filing my tax returns to Revenue Canada based on the T5007 slips provided to me by Ontario Works Social assistance. Before that I was filing my tax returns based on the tax slips provided by the employers. It was a long hold of more than 90 minutes before my call was answered by one person than transferred to another person and several brief holds. Start (08h30) to finish this call lasted for more than two hours. I was concerned for the battery draining of my cell phone because I have no land line phone for hours long calls.
July 16 of 2024: Called CRA Canada revenue agency to further findout amount any tax owing, there was no tax owing. Updated some other information as well, about one hour on the phone wait time +talk time. Since April 2006 I was on Ontario Works Social assistance program until my file transitioned to OAS/GIS program. During all this time I was filing tax returns with T5007 in Ontario (province of residency), occasionally whenever I got employment with my own efforts, I was reporting the income on OW statements which was causing OW file to close, happened several times.
July 16 of 2024: OCH number in Ottawa called me twice around 09h30 just asking me if I could hear the caller, I replied yes, but after that they end the call, without further conversation.
July 16 of 2024: when I came out of 1909 Russell around 13h00 it was cloudy nice, by the time I got to Heron gate/heatherington, it started light rain. As if, It was waiting for me to step out of my apartment in the building.
July 16 of 2024: I called revenue Canada from a land line around 14h00 to show my physical presence but all their agents were busy with other callers, tried several times, came back to my apartment and tried to call them with my mobile phone, but same message that all the agents were busy with other callers, call back another time. When I tried to make a payment to revenue Canada through cra.gc.ca web portal, system was considering my payment as CCB payment which was wrong, because I was making a payment to revenue Canada to payback carbon tax rebate CCR. CCR and CCB are different categories. This may result in misallocated payment. Requested remittance voucher.
July 17 of 2024: Visited service Canada west office around 09h00 to make the carbon rebate payment to Revenue Canada, there was no counter to receive payments, they though it was late tax payment and I was told the address of 333 Laurier in downtown, I said no it was not tax payment, it was something else. I do not owe any taxes. According to the website banks can receive payments for revenue Canada. Carbon rebate is a benefit which I was given by the revenue Canada, after issuing it to me, Revenue Canada wants it back perhaps due to some information, I am a citizen so residency information should not be an issue.
July 17 of 2024: made a partial payment to Revenue Canada at a BMO branch near Service Canada location around 09h30, and noted the bank note numbers for my records. Paid remaining amount by 12h15 at a TD branch located at Richmond road across from Holland Street. Paid in full to Revenue Canada (two partial payments). Payment made at BMO bank took one day longer than the TD Bank to appear in my CRA account. TD payment was dated same day when it was made.
TD staff faced difficulty in completing the transaction, authenticating etc, checked my ID, updated profile of closed account, my driver’s licence in the system, sent two or three verification numbers to my phone, every time was boxing head and saying wrong code. How can a code be wrong when it was sent to my phone on the spot in front of the teller, may be some kind of timing/synchronization issues. Went to speak to some one during the transaction. She was a new staff just few months. I suggested they should use voice print authentication if they do not know the customer personally. A simple transaction to make a payment (i.e. I gave my money to the bank, (I did not withdraw money, because my TD direct investing account is empty) became a bit complicated. In the past customer service or visit to a branch used to be better, pleasant and friendly, now it is not customer service, it was policing and showing authority. BMO bank requires a fee to make a payment which was waived at my request, where as TD Bank did not require any fee to make a payment to CRA.
July 18 of 2024: BMO bank authentication for web banking was found blocked this morning, when I called the bank on the phone as per their messages, my BMO account web banking became unregistered (which was just opposite of the wordings used by a pair of a male and female customer service of the phone banking.) They call the authentication questions as security questions. Not a good idea. Instead of such short quizzes for authorization purpose, they should ask the account holder to visit a branch or use more sophisticated, fraud free techniques such as voice print analysis, finger prints, handwriting etc, instead of short quizzes to determine the ownership of the accounts. It was important to use proper terminologies for such matters, because supposing, if some one did not remember correct answers to such quizzes, would be or may be considered as failed security questions, which will be incorrect and wrong to document on a person’s account profile. Such matters should not be left for the inexperienced people to decide or design. rather mature, experienced and senior people should examine these matters. Wordings, methods, strategies etc. children use in board games such as “Monopoly” can not be and must not be used in real life.
July 18 of 2024: some one attempted to enter my apartment 307 without knocking around 14h50-15h00 while I was busy preparing my meal, when I said hello, went away, did not respond, but was heard mumbling or talking to some one in a language which was not English.
July 19 of 2024: Visited BMO across the building to check my savings account. Account is normal but there was some issues in accessing it over the internet. One of the male tellers wanted to login into my account as a account holder (as customer) to talk to the IT department, which was very unusual. I declined. Bank staff should have the ability to look at the account on their own as a banker after authentication and card insertion. This branch is across the building on Smyth Rd, staff working at this branch should have neighbourhood clearance (in addition to bank clearance) to make sure that account holders assets were safe.
July 19 of 2024: I visited Service Canada West, went to my previous neighbourhood BMO branch, deposited one bank note of $20.00 at the ATM of this branch and updated my savings account by taking $10.00 cash out at the tellers counter, ATM machines do not dispense $10.00 notes only $20.00 notes. So I am physically present in Ottawa Ontario Canada, any other contradicting information will be bogus, lies, deception, politically motivated, malicious intents. Confirm with me directly, come and see me directly at my ID address (no negative intentions).
Buses on Heron Rd were irregular around the time that I was in the area of my first neighbourhood in Ottawa, where my eldest son started grade schooling.
July 20 of 2024: An old woman with bendy back (walks leaning forward) was seen in the lobby around 09h45 when I was waiting for the OC Transpo in the buffer zone of the building 1909, she was pointing from inside the lobby towards something not sure what, she did not speak English, So I stepped out of the buffer zone, checked the door on the A side of the building, and instead of waiting for the OC Transpo bus, decided to walk to Innes to explore this area.

July 21 of 2024: ate my breakfast at Perkins restaurant St. Laurent around 07h30, a group of uniformed Police officers was seen in the restaurant sitting around a table when I entered the restaurant.
July 21 of 2024: after breakfast at Perkins near St. Laurent visited byward market, downtown, Wellington St, visited one of my previous neighbourhoods in the west end of the town and walked to the mall in that area.
In the past opening/setting up of a chequing account at a bank used to be instantaneous in the same visit. During the past 10 years it has become a scheduled meeting to open an account. What this means is that people sitting at the branch level were not trained or authorized to open accounts, so they send a signal to an authorized banker to come to the branch to open the account by the way of setting up of a meeting called appointment. Perhaps crypto currency was conceived by smart people to avoid such attitudes and behaviours of the banking industry. There was a time 30 to 50 years ago when banks used to make efforts to attract people to come to bank to use banking services and deposit the money in bank accounts but current trend seems to be of repelling customers from using banking services. They used to have customers appreciation day etc.
