June 01 of 2024: woke up in Ottawa around 04h30 am in my apt 307 of OCH building at 1909 Russell Rd. K1G3P2.
June 01 of 2024: timer beeps like sounds (in low volume, faded sounds) were heard in the corridor perhaps originating from one of the adjacent apartments on this floor due to use of cooking range at high heat. Were heard Few times between 08h30 and 09h00. These beeps were not fire alarms.
June 01 of 2024: as I was stepping out for a walk around the neighbour hood around 09h00, a woman was seen walking at a fast pace in the corridor towards the elevators from the B side stairs, when I got to t I’mhe lobby few people were seen entering the lobby through buffer zone entrance, a woman was seen waiting for the elevator behind me when I was reading the notices placed around the white board. I went outdoors through the lounge. On the way back stopped at Starbucks for a cup of coffee, and visited the BMO machine to update my account. I was back in my apartment by 10h00 so I was outdoors for about one hour. Got back by route 55 towards the hospitals bound for west gate mall.
June 01 of 2024: visited the Ottawa public library located in the Elm Vale Acres strip mall next to the nails, pedicure, manicure place. to update my library record.
June 02 of 2024: an ambulance was seen outside the building between 13h00. A couple was seen moving out of apt 309 in this building 1909 Russell Rd Ottawa with their hands full of belongings in black bag after the ambulance left from the property with one sick person. Remained indoors most of the day. used oc-transpo for short trip to Elmvale Station and back by bus route 40. I used the same elevator to go down to the lobby with the couple. A woman was seen entering the trash room as I came out of the elevator at the lobby level.
June 02 of 2024:
I recently purchased a presto virtual fare card on May 30 of 2024 using google wallet app while I was at the YYZ terminal waiting for my flight to YOW, but did not use it, because I used my previous very old physical cal card in Ottawa at the airport.
Few days later on June 02 of 2024, I reset my phone due a technical glitch and google wallet was not able to restore the virtual presto fare card. However it prompted me to call presto directly to get support in this matter such as to retrieve or transfer.
I was told by the phone support that virtual presto fare cards can not be transferred cannot be retrieved if this happened.
A different method was told to me that virtual card should purchased using presto app which would link to Google wallet. Should not be purchased direct on the google wallet. At the end of the call I was told there was nothing they (Presto virtual fare card group) could do anything about it. I would suggest that in such situations they (Presto fare card group) should refund or load it on a physical card as a gesture of good customer service.
June 03 of 2024: my mobile phones stopped due to lack of money. Please come and see me in person at my address instead of making a call.
June 03 of 2024: visited OCH Chapel to find out if there was any documents they were waiting for from me, got a number and seated myself, but it was very busy and crowded so I did not wait for too long because of the route 55 going back towards Elmvale Station around that time.
June 04 of 2024: Beeping sounds were heard originating from the annunciator panel in the lobby of building at 1909 Russell Rd., in Ottawa around 09h45. I asked one person in the lobby as he was exiting where was the fire, he did not know the answer. Around same time two firetrucks were seen entering the Russell Rd from Smyth road and headed towards the industrial Rd, probably they came out of the 900 Industrial Rd training facility for a driving round and were going back to the their station. Beeping sound stopped some times before 11h30
June 04 of 2024: Around 11h30 knocked were heard in the corridor while I was eating my lunch, so I went to the door and looked around, a man was seen standing at apt 309, I went to the lobby to check my internet connectivity, beeps were silenced, a girl in black dress perhaps from 309 was seen leaving through the lobby door, other people were seen, a woman was seen sitting in the buffer zone. On my way up to my apartment, a OCH maintenance person Kevin was seen at the B side door, I asked him if he knocked on my door for the work order to set the HVAC/air for my apartment. Not yet. Stepping out around noon time.
June 04 of 2024: Filed a complaint with Air Canada in Ottawa for over billing my account and extra money for one single flight from DMM to YOW around 14h30 using web form on customer relations web page of Air Canada. My refund complaint was for the extra money taken out of my bank account by Visa debit card, not to refund the one ticket purchase.
June 05 of 2024: a man and a woman were seen and heard arguing about something near the Canada Post lockers placed across from the elevators, around 14h50 when I entered the lobby from outdoors, I used the B side stairs to go upstairs to my apartment 307.
June 06 of 2024: a fridge was seen placed in the corridor as I was walking towards the A side stairs. Perhaps some one was moving in or out or perhaps was just for maintenance. I took a short bus ride and came back to my apt. 307. Went outdoors through the lounge, perhaps they were preparing for a meeting in the lounge, I guessed it, a white board was seen placed on a stand and formation of the tables etc.. I used the A side Stairs to enter the building and B side stairs to get to my apartment 307.
June 06 of 2024: feels like OCH housing has not yet turned on air in my apartment 307.
June 06 of 2024: it was a rainy day, but was light rain on and off, I stepped out of my apartment around 13h10 to visit the TD Canada Trust Bank (visited two branches at Minto place and TD arena exhibition place) to find out if there was any issues with my trading account. On the way back it started raining heavily like cats and dogs, most likely due cloud seeding chemically induced rain between 15h00 and 16h00. When I arrived back at the building 1909 Russell Rd, few women were seen waiting at the street side door (not the lobby side door) and few women were seen sitting near the elevators around 16h00.
June 07 of 2024: Small puddles of water were seen in the building on B side of the building around the stairs and A side of the building around the AIP office also inside the lounge around the second door of the lounge which is right across from AIP office, perhaps because of yesterday’s rain.
June 07 of 2024: I hope no one was using cloud seeding chemically induced rain for malicious purposes such as to soak people in rain water when people were unprepared. I went outdoors around 15h00, there was no rain, boarded a route 46 and got off at Canada Post stop near trainyards, and walked to the next stop, suddenly rain drops started, few minutes later it increased, by the time I got to St. Laurent shopping centre from Hurdman station, rain became full scale storm like. I immediately bought an umbrella and a hat to prepare myself for the rain, when I came out of the mall it tapered off and by the time I got back to the building around 16h00 rain stopped. It appeared to me as if some one was trying to make me wet in heavy rain but because of my preparedness, backed off and rain stopped. Perhaps some one was tracking me to bring down rain on me.
June 08 of 2024: today I submitted a request and closed all internet shopping accounts with Amazon, associated with name, phone numbers, addresses and email. Thanks for the merchant Refund to my account for the amount of $5.74 after ending my membership in all Amazon ecommerce programs.
June 10 of 2024: Remained outdoors for my health walk, lunch at Perkins restaurant and grocery other misc errands for myself, also because Troy life and fire safety was in the building all day.
June 11 of 2024: submitted documents to OCH, in response I received back a confirmation of receipt, also recorded a message for tenants coordinator. Received another letter from OCH around noon time dated June 04 of 2024 with four more requirements for annual RGI housing review. I immediately complied and submitted the required documents before heading out.
June 11 of 2024: OCtanspo vehicle number 4814 route 46 hurdman bound was 6 minutes late at the stop instead of 18h54 arrived at 19h00.
June 12: 10h25 Route 6 missed schedule and did not arrive at stop 3080 by 10h33 when I documented.
June 12 of 2024: went down town to see my social worker, not available in the morning, only in the after noon for walk-in consultation. Called the air line Air Canada regarding the complained I filed on June 04 to refund the extra money taken my account using Visa debit card. I was told they don’t have time to write the full in comments, person on the phone addressed me as Mr. Khalid (as they say in Saudi Arabia mister with first name), but in Canada they say mister with the last name, when I pointed this out to her than she said Mr. Mahmood, I said it would be better to say Mr. with full name. —- Mr. Khalid Mahmood, but they have no time for that. I suggested that they should write traveller instead of incomplete name in the comments.
June 12 of 2024: My OAS deposit in the bank account must be protected by CDIC guarantee and in case of a dispute with a merchant bank should replace the disputed amount immediately. But it has not been reversed yet as of June 12. I wonder why ??
June 12 of 2024: I went to MP’s office to find how CDIC protects bank customers/consumers. But due to renovation work at the entrance door, I spoke to the MPs staff on my mobile phone from outside the door, and left a copy of CDIC in the mail slot in the door of the MPs office.
June 12 of 2024: Before MPs office, I visited Glebe seniors centre to find out if there was any community resource or lawyer who could help get my money back in my account.
June 13 of 2024: system trouble and flashing lights on alarm annunciator panel in the lobby, beeping sounds. Etc. A common and frequent trouble as was observed by me since I moved in here in August 2023, in addition to almost monthly presence in the building of Troy life and fire safety and fire trucks.
June 13 of 2024: contacted the Scotia bank using a landline from the St. Laurent mall and spoke to
June 13 of 2024: 15h05 route 46 Hurdman bound was late more than 10 minutes at Elmvale stop and at 7154 stop.
June 13 of 2024: wrote a message to MPs office about this matter with Scotia bank, received a message from Social worker. Made a phone call to CDIC etc.
June 14 of 2024: CRA carbon tax rebate deposit notification was received this morning, need to check my account to find out if it was deposited or not yet, confirmed around 08h08, it was received.
June 14 of 2024: I called Rogers to find out the status of my application. A new trend that I am detecting nowadays in call centres operation is that one person receives the call but does not handle the call until the end of the matter, instead these new call centres just after asking name number etc verification questions transfer the call to another person (perhaps at another unknown location or call centre, perhaps additional layer of protection for them), the call centre person who receives the call acts like a secretary and transfers the call somewhere else. When I used to work at the call centres it used to be different. I am a customer of Rogers because I have “connected for success” rogers internet plan at my address.
June 15 of 2024: tiny pre-alarm red light was seen flashing and beeps were heard on the alarms annunciator panel around 19h15 when I entered the lobby through the front door after a short walk.

June 16 of 2024: went outdoors for a walk and bus ride to YMCA, downtown and back to my building via St. Laurent station, used Tim Hortons in the morning and McDonalds around noon time for beverages. When I entered the lobby, alarm annunciator panel was still beeping and one light was flashing, if no one was taking care of it would mean it was an insignificant condition or perhaps some kind of safety/security measure to scare or prevent, used by (unknown to me) an elder of the building.

June 16 of 2024: I came across an advertisement of a company located in an eastern country referring to Father’s Day. When I came to Canada in 1993, Family Day, Father’s Day and Mother’s Day tradition was something unknown and new for me. I assumed perhaps life in Canada was so busy that offsprings had no time for their parents and they were given only one day in a year to take care of their parents. When I was growing up in my country of birth, I used to take care of my parents every day and Father’s Day and Mother’s Day for me was every single day, not a specific day. There must be benefits for the families associated with these allocated days for this purpose, may be through their employers and places of work.
June 17 of 2024: Went to down town by Route 55 and 16. On the way back used route 15 to go through one of my previous neighbourhoods (I have a monthly senior oc transpo pass). Bought some ready to eat meals from a grocery store which were marked down as 50% off, cashier did not apply 50% on one of the items, when I checked the receipt it was too late to return to the same store, so I approached two other store which are part of the same program, but both declined to fix the error of the cashier, although I showed them my loyalty card, receipt, sticker on the item etc. but they showed complete non coopration with a loyal customers. I wonder what is the purpose of these loyalty programs, if they can not fix such issues caused by the cashier’s or the stores. Customers do not check every time, it is a matter of trust, I have been a customer of the brand since 1993 when I used to shop with children. It reflects bad on the brand when they use such tricks on customers to display marked down prices but they don’t honor it at the register, or ignore it at the register. Perhaps some kind of un spoken anger towards me. Businesses should be above such tactics to deplete customers of their money. I paid by cash 5 bank notes each of $5.00 and some change.
June ne 17 of 2024: Came out of Ottawa City Hall around 12h15 after talking to Mayor’s/city hall staff. I also saw the monument of rights and dignity outside heritage building on Elgin Street outside City Hall.
I went to the service Ottawa counter twice first time for the bus pass and next time to inquire about the Mayor’s annual dinner on July 01 of 2024. I told the staff if there was no Engineer’s table I would decline the invitation, I want to sit around Engineer’s table not politicians table. After checking my transit pass at the city hall, I went to the OC transpo customer service in the Mall to determine if there was any issue with my transit pass or presto card.
BBQ was already over by the time I came back to the apartment from City Hall and OC transpo. BBQ was being setup around noon time when I went to the city hall.
June 17 of 2024: the annunciator panel was heard still beeping around 15h45, same message as before without any change.
June 18 of 2024: went out doors for a short walk few minutes after midnight came back to my apartment after 30 minutes, nice cool breeze. When I stepped out of the front lobby door, few vehicles were seen parked in the driveway, one person dropped a ball from a truck when the door opened. When I came back to the building all the vehicles were gone.
June 18 of 2024: Annunciator panel was silent (no beeping sounds) this morning at 7h00 O clock this morning when I went outdoors for a walk around the block.
June 19 of 2024: Went to Canada Post depot at Lancaster, but that location has no retail outlet, one of the staff in the parking lot suggested the Herongate square retail outlet for the multi currency card. Ont way back bought few grocery items from Food basics branded grocery store. Returned back to my apartment via Billings bridge station in Ottawa (not in Montana). OC Transpo Bus route 48 (a double decker bus) did not make a stop around 11h50 at stop 2A north bound to Hurdman. So I took next bus route 90 to Hurdman. OC Transpo Bus route 48 was seen listed on the departure digital display of stop #2A northbound to Hurdman, not anywhere else.
June 20 of 2024: Updated my information with Lufthansa in the morning and in the afternoon submitted official request Us ng web portal to close miles and more account, I do not intend to use these rewards programs. Also made few suggestions to Lufthansa to improve the system from travelers point of view.
June 20 of 2023: knocks started again around 15h00, some one was seen knocking on the door opposite to my apt door #307. I opened the door to find out if some one was knocking on my apt door #307. Knocker did not speak to me but he noticed me open the door.
June 21 of 2024: several fire trucks and vehicles were seen hovering around the building in both directions around 10h00, I used B side door to go outdoors to the parking lot immediately as soon as I heard sirens of a fire truck. 15 minutes later after all the fire trucks left from the site, I went back to my apt 307, used elevators, some one was seen heading in the opposite direction as soon as I turned around the corner after exiting from the elevators.
June 22 of 2024: as I was heading towards the B side stairs door around 15h00, door of the last apartment on the right side near the B side door, opened from inside at the very moment when I passed by it, just a little bit and immediately closed, I got a brief peek of a tall person in fire department uniform through the small opening of the door i.e. inadvertently. Outdoors a firetruck and an ambulance was seen in front of the building, but there was no fire alarm, no sirens, perhaps some one got sick and this was an EMS emergency team without a police vehicle. Earlier in the afternoon around 12h45 two men were seen in the lobby around the elevators, one man was sitting on the bench and the other was in the wheel chair.
June 22 of 2024: a woman was seen wandering in the corridor on the third floor, came out of a elevator and later on entered the apartment across from my apartment 307 while I was testing the signal strength of my mobile phone by walking in the corridor.
June 22 of 2024: few people were seen near the elevator a few minutes before 22h00 perhaps 21h45, an old woman and child came out of elevator and rushed towards one of the apartments to the left of the elevators, a man entered the elevator after they came out. I used A side door to go outdoors. Few minutes later around 22h00 a man followed right behind me with a bike when he saw me enter the lobby. It was light rain outside, and I am NOT guard of this building, but when he entered very close to me I reminded him that he was entering at his own risk. OCH should display more visible signs reminding people not to enter the building without a key.

June 23 of 2024: a rainy day in Ottawa. Started raining cats and dogs with a nasty thunder around 14h00.
June 24 of 2024: a rainy start of the day, momentarily rain becomes very heavy rain like some one was pouring big drums of water from floors above in the building.
June 24 of 2024: again a letter from OCH was waiting for me in my letter box 307 around 11h00 to submit some documents. I submitted as required and responded to the letter immediately. This was the third time in June 2024 to submit documents to OCH to fulfill their requirements related to RGI rent. I wonder what has changed since the lease was signed on July 28 of 2023 in the presence of two witnesses.
June 25 of 2024: beeps were heard originating from the annunciator panel around 09h40 when I entered the lobby through the front door after my morning walk and meal trip to Glebe area. Message on the display of the annunciator panel was about outdoor generator.
June 25 of 2024: no beeps were heard in the lobby when I checked my letter box around 11h00. A woman was seen waiting near letter boxes in the lobby and two women were seen sitting outside the building in chairs.
June 25 of 2024: visited CAA to find out about the multi currency card for travelers and substitute for the travelers cheques, I was referred to banks to find out, visited BMO etc. responded to an email message from OCH regarding some missing documents, also informed that same information can be found from revenue Canada.
June 26 of 2024: a shaved head man was seen entering apt 309 around 20h33 as I was approaching my apt door 307, he said something to himself before entering the apt 309.
Most of the day I was in and out of my apartment for various reasons, shopping for my supplies etc.
I called Scotia bank to find out about the unauthorized transactions dated May 29, one person answered and spoke for few minutes and after that call was transferred to another person. When I called the bank automated system authenticated me by the voice recognition, after that the person who answered the call authenticated me by asking few questions, and when call was transferred to another person, he tried to authenticate me third time during the same call. I wonder what is the reason for authentication so many times.
June 26 of 2024: a rainy and windy night in Ottawa, as was just noticed around 21h10. Rain stopped after short duration. When I went outdoors around 22h00 for a short walk, an ems SUV vehicle (not the ambulance) was seen parked outside the building. Two men were seen going out of the front door and perhaps either moved the vehicle to another spot or left from the premises by the time I came back to the building after a short walk.
June 27 of 2024: I got my shoes repaired from a repair shop in downtown in the basement of Place de ville and paid cash by a bank of $50.00 noted the numbers on it.
June 27 of 2024: around 17h50 when I stepped out of my apt 307 a man was seen talking on the phone leaning on the opposite door.
June 27 of 2024: Due to some unknown Technological malfunction around 18h30 Scene credit card transaction was declined at Greenland Asian grocery store at Heatherington/Walkley, which was near my first Ottawa neighbour hood palm gate apartments. NSF was not the reason for this decline. I called the Scene credit card after came back to my apartment #307 at 1909 Russell Rd., to find out the reason, I was told it was a chip failure etc. I was offered a new replacement card, which I declined. I will decide later what to do with this matter. I used my backup card to complete the less than $20.00 transaction.
June 29 of 2024: just arrived (from my building 1909 Russell Rd) and ordered at the Marriott Spin restaurant something to eat and coffee this morning around 08h00. One month since I departed from DMM on May 29 of 2024 around 23h40 and returned to country of my Citizenship i.e. Canada on May 30 of 2024 in the evening. May 31 was my full day back in Ottawa Ontario Canada after March 26 of 2024. My Lufthansa flight LH625 departed from two GCC countries, from Saudi Arabia before midnight (departed 23h40 AST May 29 of 2024 arrived in KWI in May 30 at 00h45) and landed in Kuwait at 00h45 for a brief stop and departed again after one hour stopover (01h45 May 30 of 2024) Kuwait AST time.
June 29 of 2024: my presto card was showing a negative balance of (CAD$ -3.76) when OC Transpo staff checked my presto card before loading the monthly pass. This was unexpected information for me because I went to OC Transpo counter at the city hall and OC Transpo customer service at Rideau centre mall on June 17 and I was given a printed statement by both locations showing nothing was owed and card was functioning normally. To avoid unnecessary argument I decided to pay the negative balance ($-3.76) to get my monthly pass loaded on my presto. I was told by the OC Transpo staff that I used my presto with a companion. Perhaps he was referring to the two incidents when I offered to tap my monthly pass to help two fellow passengers, an old woman who boarded the route 46 bus Hurdman (station) bound from Emlvale station in 2023 and asked for help and the other incident was in June 2024 when a student boarded a route 12 bus near Gloucester library, bus was bound for Blair station. Perhaps the student forgot to bring his student pass to show the driver, driver was not nice and was scolding at him, so I asked the driver if I could tap for the student. As I understand by the OC Transpo ads that a presto monthly pass can be shared. So why they charged extra to my presto card, in addition to my monthly Senior pass.
June 29 of 2024: around 17h00 while I was holding the mobile phone line with Koodo mobile wireless company to discuss my inflated bill, some one tried to enter my apartment 307 without knocking, when I went to the door to see who it was. This was a man I saw in 2023 at a shelter and around this building, when I asked, he said #207, perhaps he made a mistake and instead of going to 207 one floor down, he came to apt 307.
June 29 of 2024: change of service plan completed from monthly to pre paid (as was before) on my (289)990-6590 mobile number to avoid piling up of monthly bills and over billing disputes.
June 29 of 2024: some activity was detected in the corridor around 22h00, a physically big overweight woman was seen walking in the corridor when I opened the door to figure out the source of a phone like notification sounds which was not originating from my phone, perhaps some one was standing too close to my apt door 307,
June 29 of 2024: few shots of fireworks were heard around 23h40.
June 30 of 2024: a cuckoo bird was heard around 30 minutes past midnight, perhaps was trying to get the attention of some one, or perhaps came from Alkhobar tracking me here in Ottawa, couple of birds used to sit in my windows in Alkhobar and used to make sounds like pigeons.
June 30 of 2024: it was noticed that authentication questions for 2FA purposes (which are like verbal passwords to be provided when talking to a website staff), change in the back ground or sometimes unknown questions were added in the profiles without any notification. Industry should consider to make some standards and enforce for consumer protection. Login methods to access records on the internet should be independent of human intervention and should be perfected to avoid frauds and unnecessary login troubles, use of biometrics is one of the solutions.
June 30 of 2024: went out doors in morning, came back around 14h20, as soon I unlocked my apartment 307, a woman came out of apt 308 around 14h20. I went outdoors again to see what was happening, a SUV was seen parked in front of the building, when I reentered the lobby through the front door, a man followed right behind me through the open door, perhaps he did have a door opener or the keys to enter. He was seen entering an elevator, I took next elevator to my apartment 307.
