Attention all airlines , Star Alliance, and all other airline alliances.


Traveling is a matter of physical presence/activity. Profiles (or PNR files) cannot travel without a human being. Unauthorized people might take over such profiles (these profiles are not law enforcement or police profiles, are just travelers PNR files which consists mainly of name and contact information) to show activity wrongfully. Please update my profile (PNR) with the following information. Remove all other phone numbers except the following two numbers. Email addresses remain the same, no change. Also consider to send 2FA verification to email addresses or WhatsApp as well in addition to the mobile numbers, some airlines such as KLM & Air France have already implemented email as alternate for 2FA.


I suggest that all websites on internet which use the term profile should refrain from it and instead give it a different name, use a different word for it, make it more descriptive. Airlines should call it PNR file (other another suitable name according to their system) because it consists of mainly travelers name, contact address or IDs.


In legal terms, for police/law enforcement language word profile has a very different meaning. Industry should take steps/measures to draw the lines between these terminologies, records etc. not every record on internet was a profile for police law enforcement..
