To the attention of McDonald’s and To WHOM IT MAY CONCERN/INTEREST.
Is this building at 1909 Russell Rd in Ottawa Ontario K1G3P2 Canada is safe for any kind of delivery, my delivery from McDonald’s was stolen twice including today on January 20 of 2024. Delivery people are part of the theft ring, they do not follow the clear instructions and common sense to deliver the merchandise. They are supposed to deliver to the apartment who initiated and paid for the order. So beware of this fraud and crime. This is a crime because it results in financial losses for me, the under signed.
Order was placed using McDonald’s app which has my complete information. McDonald’s restaurants print proper address labels with name etc. and itemized list for the delivery orders, method to contact etc. So how can they miss delivery, not once but more than once. So the issue is with delivery (supply) chain or the restaurant operators. They steal orders placed and paid by one customer and they deliver to another customer as their buddy or bribe. To place an order using app requires lot of efforts and acceptable payment methods etc. Because of the cold weather I chose to place a delivery order. Regardless of weather conditions outdoors, is this delivery system reliable. Absolutely not.
I spoke to a man in wheel chair if there was any delivery for me, he confirmed that some one took it.
I placed the order around 16h45 and expected delivery time was 17h10, I came out of the building after 18h00 through the lounge while people were playing Bingo. I asked them if it was mobile casino (like mobile library), a man said this was disturbing the game, so I left. They did not like to talk to me.
In 2023 a pair of shoes shipped to me by Amazon at Amazon hub locker address was also stolen, and was never delivered to me.
Dishonest and crook people do not have the courteously and honesty to deliver to the rightful owner.
Since I live in my apartment by myself (single occupancy no spouse or roommate), if I go to the lobby to receive the delivery, there will be no one in the apartment, and some one might go upstairs, knock on the apartment door and because of no response might say no one was there. Therefore it is common sense that delivery should be made to the apartment door not the lobby door.
