This is about two nearly simultaneous changes by Microsoft – change of product name and change of subscription plan.
I just now noticed on October 03 of 2020 that my Office 365 Business Essential setup has disappeared without any advance information or precautionary message from Microsoft.So this was done without preparing customers about these changes.This is not a very pleasant experience. Please make sure that in this switch over licences and configuration are not messed up. During this switch over all the data (invoices, “onedrive” contents etc must not be lost).In this switch over everything must transfer without any loss of data.1) Method of payment was found blank, so I re-entered method of payment to settle current payment. My method of payment is CIBC visa debit card which is linked to my chequing account and has no printed name on the card. So I entered the the name on the account in the space for “name on the card“.
2) Domains list was found empty this morning on 10/04/2020 so I added my domain name manually.
3) Product list is empty for my subscription.
4) Licence is not shown in the list.

[Microsoft algorithms/programs should be consistent in showing the 2 letters in the little circle on the left after login. Sometimes first two letters of the given name are shown and sometimes first letter of given name and first letter of the family name is shown. Microsoft should adopt a consistent approach to these simple things to make it look better and professional]
Live.com shows “KH” in the little circle ⭕ on the left and 365 shows “KM” in the little circle ⭕ on the left after login for my name “KHALID MAHMOOD”. It is not two different individuals, same person i.e. me myself.Live.com has the option to display the thumbnail picture after login in the profile. Business account on office.com should show company logo if not (or instead of) the picture thumbnail after login.Thanks,

A suggestion to the technical and Engineering Colleges/Universities to include some courses in their programme to prepare graduate students to learn to survive the shock and stress of govt. provided social assistance due to unemployment and unknown reasons, which I was never/not taught.
