TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
In the past it happened many times that banks were stopping transactions on my interac/debit card for small transactions of couple of dollars. And phone banking were telling me to go to a branch to get a replacement card (a process which requires ID check and signing paper work etc.) and in another situation banks were holding my money even after cheques were cleared for amount as small as $10.00 which I was depositing from my one account to my own another account.
I was not signing on and not writing on someone else’s cheques because I use my own cheques legally issued to me by the bank.
Now I have some idea why this was happening, perhaps they (banks) were being misguided about cheques and interac debit cards usage.
I would like to clarify that everything I use is my own lawfully obtained inperson (not by a third party or representative) by completing necessary requirements and process, cheques, Interac/debit cards (I have no credit cards because I declared bankruptcy many years ago and survive on OW social assistance).
