To the attention of IEEE Saudi Arabia Section R8
Leaving early around 20h10 due to communication problem with the phone company. IEEE app not loading etc. rushed to a Zain mobile (my service provider) store at a mall (paid cash to the taxi operator because he did accept payment by Careem), Zain staff at the booth were not helpful. Retuned to my apt 504, bought a meal from a mattaam on the way at Shaara Makkah. Driver of the taxi did not have change due back and was trying to tell all excuses for that, appeared to be unfamiliar with the area and was not able to understand the one of the road name I mentioned after Ninar restaurant.
At the meeting, I got the opportunity to speak to few people and introduced myself, chairman at the meeting invited me to the coffee by a gesture, coffee machine was almost empty of the water, I asked a server to make a cup of coffee for me, but machine stopped because it was out of water. She called for help to get a full bottle of water. She was nice that she made and poured a cup of coffee for me, machine was empty after a man took a cup of coffee ahead of me. I gave her a compliment for her customer service skills by saying that she was doing a good job. I was not invited to the refreshment, moreover, the communication channel of my phone and wifi, were cutoff which forced me to leave immediately from the meeting to get my phone restored by the service provider Zain mobile KSA. WiFi was also not working although it was showing connected etc.
After entering the building around 21h00, where I am renting since May 02, spoke to the reception to make sure my key was still okay, before going upstairs to my apartment #504. He mentioned about June 01. I am expecting I will get a flight back to Ottawa before that date (on my own personal reasons not for anything else.) since roll back of my life to my past did not happen as I was expecting.
