TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN/INTEREST: ————————— My curtainised Door 2 on the upper Floor of 671 is not a barricaded Door.
No one will answer the knock when I am outdoors because I have no DUO in the building or in my unit #2, I am renting this unit #2 for myself and I am the only person listed to live legally on the OW rental document. No one else. So it is better to call me at (289)990-6590 before knocking. I have lived at this address for the past 4.5 years.
When I lived with my family before marriage and after marriage, there was always some one at home to answer and talk to the knockers in my absence due to work or education or travel etc . Here in Hamilton I am in a different situation, I live here by myself and no one is available to look after the knockers when I am out doors for errands or work or meetings etc. So please call before knocking. Or drop a handwritten note if urgent matter.
Wether I am indoors to answer knockers or not makes no difference because I am a monthly rent paying tenant in unit 2 since 2017 May and my rent is setup for directly payment to receivers. Knockers should determine themselves wether it is a social call to knock or a legal in nature. For social calls, knockers can write me an email or a letter or a phone call to visit a pub or a club etc. If the knocking is for legal matters, there are formal methods to convey legal messages or documents which are verifiable by the Canada Post and the authorities, just absence of an answer to a knocker does not and is not sufficient to determine weather someone lives here or not. People pay rent to live in a place, and I am a monthly rent paying tenant so I live at this address regardless of what the knockers are contemplating to show by knocking when I am outdoors, if it is so. I have my ID at this address verified twice by the Service Ontario in September 2021.
Obviously knockers themselves do not live in the building and come from somewhere else just for a little bit to show presence. If they lived in the building 24/7 they can see me and talk to me another time. So it is like knockers show up briefly in the building when I am outdoors, and when I am indoors knockers go elsewhere.

Monthly Tenant (in this building since 2017 May – 4.5 years – in October 2021 – I was trapped to rent in such building, I did not ask for this address.)
A suggestion to the technical and Engineering Colleges/Universities to include some courses in their programme to prepare graduate students to learn to survive the shock and stress of govt. provided social assistance due to unemployment and unknown reasons, which I was never/not taught.
